Hi

Hi y'all!

Hope all is well?! :)

Today, I'm sharing a card that I made for Scrapbook Pal's social media pages. :)

Sometimes we need that quick and easy hello card that has an impact and with Spellbinders Just Wanted to Say Collection Stitched Hi, you can do so! Simply take the Hi outline die and use it with white cardstock. Before adhering to things to your card base, use some fun colors of cardstock to make stripes and then add your die cut panel. To finish things off, a simple hot foiled sentiment and a few enamel dots. That’s it.

Shall we make this card step by step?! ;)

1. Take white cardstock and use with the Spellbinders Hi outline die.

2. Take a blank piece of cardstock, make some stripes with colored cardstock and add it to the blank piece of cardstock.

3. Add adhesive on the back of the outline panel and add to the striped panel.

4. Now to do some hot foiling. Take some silver hot foil and use it with Spellbinders Spring into Glimmer Collection-Sentiments for everyday.

5. Use the matching die with the hot foiled sentiment and then add to card.

6. Add a touch of enamel dots.

7. That's it!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Have a great day and see you soon!

FLORIDA

Hi y'all!
Happy Wednesday, hope all is well?! :)

I'm swinging in today to share a card I made for Amy's Woodblock Wednesday feature. Have you played along, yet?...It's a great way to show your woodblock stamps some love! ;)

Without further ado, here is my card...

Oh, yes. FLORIDA. My home. :) I kept things nice and simple and did some stenciling for the background. I chose colors that reminded me of our sunsets. ;) After, I simply stamped on the stamp using black ink. That's it. Easy peasy, right?!...

Also, Amy! Do you remember sending me this stamp?...It's been awhile but I sure remember it came from you...so thank you again and next time I'll try to use things sooner! (lol) :)

Well, that's all for me! Be sure to check out the fun on Amy's blog, too!

Quilted cards!

Hello, Hello! I'm up on the Scrapbook Pal blog, today. :)  Are any of you a quilter or have you tried quilting before? In all honesty, I'm not a quilter nor have I even tried quilting. But, let me just say, with Spellbinders Orange Peel Quilt embossing folder and Spellbinders Filigree Eight Point Star dies you can be a quilter and with paper!

At first, I was a little intimidated by the quilting dies and embossing folder. Though, after some playing around and learning how to piece things together, I truly can see why people enjoy quilting. In fact, I enjoyed things so much that I made two cards!

Let's get to making some quilted cards!

Card number one.

1. Start with white cardstock and the Orange Peel Quilt Embossing Folder. Then set aside.

2. Use the small Filigree Eight Point Star dies with colored cardstock of your choice. (In this case, I chose a dark/navy blue and bright pink cardstock.) Then piece together the dies, saving the middle pieces and setting aside.

3. Do some simple hot foiling for the sentiment using Spellbinders Spring into Glimmer Collection-Sentiments for Everyday and Gold glimmer hot foil.

4. Add the embossed panel to the card base. Then adhere the quilted star in the middle (with foam squares on the back) and add on the middle pieces around the star.

5. Lastly, add on the hot foiled sentiment with foam squares on the back.

That's it! Card one, done. So fun, right?

Let's get to card number two!

1. Start with white cardstock and use the big and small
Filigree Eight Point Star dies and set things aside.

2. Use gold glitter cardstock (or a cardstock of your choice) and use the Filigree Eight Point Star dies to get the decorative middle part of the star. Set things aside.

3. Take the solid die cut pieces of the Filigree Eight Point Star and use the Orange Peel Quilt Embossing Folder with them.

3. Layer and adhere all the die cut pieces together. Set aside.

4. Hot foiling time! Use
Gold glimmer hot foil with Spellbinders Spring into Glimmer Collection-Sentiments for Everyday. Set aside.

4. Adhere the star to a square card base, add on the center star with foam squares on the back. Add on hot foiled sentiment with foam squares on the back.

That's it. Card number two, done! Sweet, right?

I would appreciate it so much if you were to check out my post the Scrapbook Pal blog and maybe even leave some love there, too! :)
