Guesting-The Card Concept

Hey y'all! Hope all is well?!...

Today is my second (and last) post for guesting at The Card Concept. I've had so much fun and I thank you again, Tracey! :)

So here's my card.

This one was a little tricky for me! Though, after taking somewhat of a break, things started to come to me. ;) I went with focusing on the colors and cupcake wrapper, which reminded of a doily. A little 'clean and layered' style, yeah?!...

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to swing on over to The Card Concept and see all the DT creations! And while you're there, I hope you'll join in on the fun!?!...

Hope to see you there!

pure fun

Hey y'all! Happy Tuesday! :)
Hope y'all had a great weekend/holiday?!...

Sooo...I was playing around with some new goodies. (CAS-ual Fridays Stamps, to be exact. ;))  And I was trying to look at things in a different way and well, I came up with something.

Who would of ever thought!?!...

Jellyfish! Yep.
Why, jellyfish?...I do not know, but for some reason I was seeing them. lol ;)

I ended up flipping the flower upside down, adding a little bit of color, and using the sentiment as tentacles. Not exactly sure the sentiment works with it (as far as the meaning goes?) but hey, I like how it looks! And it's just for fun, so why not, right?! ;) Let me know what you think!?...

Waffle Flower Challenge

Hey y'all! Happy Monday!

Today is a brand new challenge at the Waffle Flower Challenge!

Check out the photo..

Isn't it pretty?!!

So, here's what I came up with.

I focused on the rug. Which I instantly thought of Waffle Flower's doily die. I was trying and going to use the whole die cut, but things just were working for what I was thinking. After some more thinking and playing around, things finally started to come together and work for me. I ended up trimming down the doily to fit inside the circle die. And after, before adhering down my doily, I stamped on some light pink 'stars'. Once done, I then adhered my doily and added my butterfly to the center. Sooo, what you think?!...

Be sure to swing on over to the Waffle Flower Challenge and see all the DT creations! Hope to see you there?!!...

Hey y'all! Happy Sunday!

Today is a brand new challenge at CAS on Sunday! And this time we have a fun 'choose 3 in a row' board!

So, I chose to go right down the middle.

black, white, and 1 color + female + thank you =

I felt like this card took me back to my roots! lol Ultra CAS. :)

congratulations

Hey y'all! Happy Thursday...almost Friday! Yay! :)

Lately, I seem to be on a roll with making cards (knock on wood)! ;) So today I'm back sharing a card I made for the current Casology Challenge and for the current Little Tangles Challenge.

Here's what I came up with.

Once again, I did some shopping! Which seriously, I really need to stop buying more stuff!!! Somebody needs to slap me, if I buy anything more! lol ;) However though, I just couldn't resist some of the things out there! And you know what's gonna do me in again?...The new Lawn Fawn release coming up! Yeah. Problems, I tell ya! Problems! ;)

So, I used Miriam's 'Hoop die' (and 'Gardenia Blooms' set) from Neat & Tangled. Which, I'm in love with! If you don't have the hoop die, I recommend getting it! It is awesome! (This is just my personal opinion. I'm not told to say any of this. ;))

For the flowers I just did a little masking with them. After, I used some distress markers to color my flowers with and added a light/faint blue background around them. Simple, yeah?...

You matter to me

Hey y'all! Happy Wednesday! :)

Already the middle of the week! I'm counting down the days until my kids are out of school...come on end of the month! ;)

Anyhow, I'm swinging in to share a card I made, which happens to fit for the current Uniko Studio Challenge. I have followed their blog/challenge for some time now, though have never played! Well, that is until now. ;)

Here's my card.

Now, I don't have any Uniko Studio stamps (and I need to change that!), so I went on using an older Jane's Doodles set I have (which I think I may have only used it once, if even that!) and for my sentiment I used CAS-ual Fridays Stamps 'Lovely Greetings' set.

I did some masking with my flowers and left them 'black and white'. Then, did some coloring and cutting to make one of my flowers pop. ;) Simple, yeah?...

wishing you...

Hey y'all! Happy Monday!

I've been waiting for my sunlight to come back for some photo taking and I'll be, today I got some! And good thing, because I have some DT stuff that's due pretty much now! lol ;)

Anyhow, my card today is for the current Little Tangles Challenge. I'd like to think it's right up my alley, too! ;)
Here's my card.

Keeping everything nice and simple, I chose a light grey and white pattern paper for my background. Then stamped on some waves and did a little coloring for my sailboat. Added my sentiment and called it good. ;) So, what do think?!...

Guesting at The Card Concept!

Hey y'all! Happy Wednesday! Hope you're having a great week so far?!...

Today, I have some fun and exciting news to share! I recently was asked by Tracey, if I'd like to Guest Design at The Card Concept for May...of course, I said yes! Yay!  :)

Thank you so much, Tracey!

So, here's what I came up with.

I focused on the woodgrain and 'flowers'. I chose a woodgrain pattern paper and then stamped on my flowers, which I added just a 'hint' of color to the center of them. After, I stamped my sentiment and added some twine. Simple, yeah?...I'd still consider this to be quite CAS, even though I used some pattern paper and twine. ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to swing on over to The Card Concept, to join in on the fun and to see all the DT creations! :) Hope to see you there!...

Enjoy your day!

Life is beautiful

Hey y'all! Happy Monday!

Today, we have a brand new challenge at the Waffle Flower Challenge! :)

Isn't that inspiration photo so pretty?!...

Here's what I came up with.

Yep. The whole photo certainly inspired me. :) I used the circle doily in a light grey ink, for my background. After, I did quite a bit of layering with my flowers, though hopefully it looks like a little bouquet?...And at first I was a little stumped on what to do for a sentiment. But then chose to stamp 'life is beautiful' across my card, towards the bottom. So, what do you think?!...

Be sure to swing on over to the Waffle Flower Challenge and see all the DT creations! While you're there, I hope you'll join us?!!... :)

You leave a little...

Hey y'all! Happy Sunday!
And Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms!

We have a brand new challenge at CAS on Sunday! And this time we're all about "Cheer up, buttercup"...make a card to brighten someones day. How sweet is that?! :)

Here's my card.

Keeping things nice and clean, I lightly made a circle with a pencil and then stamped on my 'gems'. Once my ink was dried, I erased my pencil line and added my sentiment in the center. I know you probably can't see it?...but I also added a little sparkle to my two bigger gems.

Be sure to swing on over to CAS on Sunday and see all the DT projects! And while you're there, I hope you'll join us?!...

Anyhow, I'm just swinging on in to share a card. I actually was just having fun with some new stamps. I didn't even have a plan or anything!...Just went with the flow. ;)

Here's what I came up with.
