Gnome hello

Hi y'all! 

Happy Thursday, almost Friday! :)

I'm swinging in today to share a card I made for the current Not 2 Shabby Challenge. I certainly have been under a rock (lol) because I didn't know about these challenges until recently...seriously, where have I been?! (lol) Did you know about the challenges?...If not, I highly recommend checking the challenge out. ;) 

Without further ado, here is my card...

What's that?...A gnome on my card?! (lol) If you know me, then you know you'll rarely see a gnome on any of my cards. But how could one resist the cuteness of these gnomes?!...I kept things sooo simple, not even using a stamp nor coloring my card. Just some patterned paper, a die cut 'hello', and a gnome image from PET tape (yes, tape!) with a touch of enamel dots. So easy, right?!...

Summertime

While it may not be officially summertime, it certainly is upon us and I'm all for it! :) When summer hits it's all about sun, surf, sand, pool time, ice cream, and fun. That's what inspired my card. I'm sharing things on Brass & Bliss Craft Co.'s blog, today. I have a little peek at my process...

Fiesta

Hello, hello! 

Happy Tuesday! :)

I'm swinging in today to share a 'just for fun' card. I really wanted to post this card for Cinco de Mayo but I ended up having to take care of my daughter who was sick and then I had a big migraine that came on and just could not do anything. Thankfully, my daughter is much better and my head is much better today, though sore. 

Without further ado, here is my card...

I used some 'new to me' goodies from Not 2 Shabby and threw in a little Stamplorations with the die cut border and Scrapbook.com with the skinny die cut letters. 

Perhaps, I should have done the letters in black cardstock?...but didn't think about it much until after the fact, though I do like the white, too. So it is what it is. (lol) I did some coloring with a mix of Copic markers as well as an 'off brand' of alcohol markers that I've had for quite some time. After, a little fussy cutting with the cactus. For the background, just some patterned paper and then added a touch of faux splatters using a fine point black Copic pen. Then added on the die cut letters to spell 'fiesta'. Fun, right?!...

Today, starts a new Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge over on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog. This time it's all about incorporating flowers into your card! 

Here's my card...

I kept things nice and simple. Just one stamp set, some coloring with alcohol markers and a die. Doesn't get much easier than that, right?! ;)
