Not 2 Shabby Challenge Team post-Tropical, take 2

Hello, hello!
Hope all is well?!...

Have you seen the Not 2 Shabby Monthly Mood Board Challenge?...If you haven't, you certainly should check it out! It's all about being inspired and having fun! And you don't even have to use Not 2 Shabby goodies, but if you do, as a little bonus, you can play along more than one time.  :)

Without further ado, here is my second Challenge Team card for the challenge...

Let's make this card!

  • Start with a white cardstock that is marker friendly and the Tropical Leaves stamp set and stamp on leaves using black ink.
  • Color leaves using Copic markers. In this case, colors: BG53, BG49, and BG45.
  • Add depth to leaves using a black colored pencil.
  • Use the Tropical Leaves coordinating die to cut leaves. Set aside.
  • Use gold cardstock along with the Tropical Leaves coordinating die and die cut the same leaves as above.
  • Layer leaves together, having the gold slightly 'peek out' from underneath the colored leaves.
  • Set aside.
  • Take the EZ Wonder Die #3 along with white cardstock and die cut images.
  • Repeat the step above but this time using black cardstock.
  • Repeat the step above but this time using patterned paper from the It's Tropical paper pad.
  • Take the white postage die cut and adhere the black squares, as well as the patterned paper square.
  • Trim the edge of the one leaf to fit onto the upper right square.
  • Adhere with foam tape on the back.
  • Take the other tropical leaf and adhere it with foam tape on the back.
  • Add sparkling enamel dots.
  • Use the Tropical Leaves stamp set and stamp the sentiment on white cardstock.
  • Use the Tropical Leaves coordinating die with the stamp sentiment.
  • Add foam tape on the back and adhere to the card.
  • Add foam tape on the back of the postage panel and adhere to cardbase.

First Not 2 Shabby Challenge Team post-Tropical

Hello, hello!
Happy Wednesday!

Today, is officially my first Not 2 Shabby Challenge Team post! Ack! :) If you haven't seen the current July Monthly Mood Board Challenge, you'll want to be sure to check things out on the Not 2 Shabby blog. It's so fun and easy to play along! :)

On to my card...

I'm pretty sure my card screams tropical?!...(lol) Living in a tropical/sub tropical place, bright colors are everywhere (and neon lol depending where you go or at). So I wanted to incorporate that into my card, along with some tropical leaves.

Here's the recipe for my card...

  •  Use a marker friendly white cardstock and stamp on images in black ink.
  •  Using Copic markers color in the images.
  •  Die cut images with matching dies.
  •  Use patterned paper and the EZ Wonder #1 die to die cut card pieces.
  •  Use the square with the circle cutout and two banner pieces.
  • Adhere one of the color leaves behind the square.
  • Add foam tape on the back and adhere to the card base.
  • Adhere the remaining leaves and banners to the card.
  • Stamp on sentiment to white cardstock and use with matching die.
  • Add to the card.

Fun, right?!...
