Today, I'm sharing a card for the
Not 2 Shabby August Monthly Mood Board Challenge. These challenges are so much fun, you'll want to be sure to play along! Don't have any Not 2 Shabby goodies?...That's okay! You can use whatever you have in your stash! (Though, if you
do use Not 2 Shabby goodies you can enter more than one card. More details below.)
Without further ado, here is my card...
Once again, I went with using the EZ Wonder Die #3 along with some fall critters. Cute, right?!...Let's make this card!
- Use marker friendly white cardstock and stamp on images in black ink.
- Color images using alcohol markers. (I used a combination of Copic markers as well as some Caliart markers.) (Copic colors: RV63, RV66, RV69, E29, E37, E39, YR04, YR07, YR09, YR15.) (Caliart colors: Y400, Y411, Y423, Y623, Y648, B003, B025 B114, B258, B635, B714.)
- Use the coordinating die with the colored images.
- Add highlights with a white gel pen.
- Set aside.
- Use the EZ Wonder Die #3 with patterned paper. Repeat this step for the two different papers.
- Using only the three squares from the patterned paper, adhere them to the main postage die.
- Set aside.
- Use marker friendly cardstock and stamp on sentiment using black ink.
- Color the two images on the sentiment and add highlights.
- Use the coordinating die with the colored sentiment.
- Adhere die cut images to postage die. Adding foam tape only on the back of the sentiment, bear, the one bigger leaf at top of the umbrella, and the bigger leaf and acorn at the bottom by the bunny/pumpkin.
- Adhere postage panel to cardbase.
Here are the rules:
You must be 18 yrs or older to participate.
Create a card getting inspiration from the colors or images on the mood board.
