A Killer Whale Hello

Hey y'all! Happy Friday! :)
Hope all is well?!...

*For my AJVD post, please scroll down.*

So a couple days ago, Amy inspired with her adorable card, which you can see HERE. I have had THIS Lawn Fawn die set for a little while now and have only used it one other time besides what I'm sharing today. How could I forget about such an ADORABLE little die set?!...Then again, it's me I'm talking about...which I seem to be known for buying things and stashing it away. lol ;)

Anyhow, here's what I came up with. A killer whale, hello!

I started just with a whale but was having trouble deciding on what colors I wanted it to be. So after some thinking, I thought why not make a killer whale.?. To add a little more white to my whale, I did some easy cutting with another white whale die cut piece and added a tad more white to the 'back' of my whale. Thus, making it more like a killer whale.

To finish things off, I used some patterned paper for my background. (Gasp! lol) Then I used a little bit of woodgrain paper and brown paper. As well as attaching my 'hello' with some mini staples. And to top everything off, I added my waterspout and some sequins. Sweet, yeah?!...

Oh, and guess what?!...I did no stamping on this card!!...Who says you always need to stamp?! lol
And thank you Amy for the inspiration! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your Friday and weekend! See you soon!

Already half way through the week, can you believe it?!... ;) I'm swinging on in today to share a card for the current CASology challenge.

Once again, my markers were calling to me...so I did some simple coloring for my card and that's pretty much it! (well, some simple stamping too. ;)) Easy peasy, right?!...

Live Wild and Free

Hey y'all! Happy Friday!! :)

*For my AJVD post, please scroll down.*

I'm just swinging back in today to share another card with you...this time it's for the current Waffle Flower Challenge!

When I saw the inspiration photo, I instantly thought the new Waffle Flower Crafts Wild and Free stamp set. Something with the flowers and colors...just thought it'd work perfectly. ;)

I kept things pretty simple. I used a dark brown ink for all my images/outlines/etc. Then I added colors of purples and green. To finish things off, I added a touch of gold glitter cardstock to the side of my card. Simple and sweet, yeah?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great day and see you soon!

Just a Little Hello

Hey y'all! Happy Thursday! :)
Hope all is well?!...

I'm just swinging in today to share a card I made for the current Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #3!

I haven't made a shaker card in quite awhile, so I thought why not now...pretty much fits the challenge, right?!...

And look! I managed to still keep my card CAS. lol ;)
I'm sure I could have used some kind of patterned paper or stamping or something with the background?...Though, you know I tend to struggle with using patterned paper and whatnot. ;)

Being my little shaker isn't terribly huge, I wanted to make sure I focused on that and not add too much of anything more that would draw you away from it.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day and see you soon!
