Another "Happy Birthday" (Masculine).

Hey ya'll! It's been a little bit, since my last post....but I'm here today, sharing another masculine birthday card with you!!

This took some thinking, again! And this one is for my husband, so I wanted it to be a little extra special! :) *note: don't get me wrong, all my cards are special to me! I just figured since my husband's getting old (not really), I'd put a little more time into his card (I am so bad at times, that I'm usually making his card, the day before or even on his birthday)!

So, I went with using some natural items, again. This time....Burlap! Who would of ever thought?! I liked the texture and the color to it and figured it would work for a masculine card. I still wanted to keep my card fairly simple, so I didn't do anything too crazy. But I'm happy with how my card came out! :) I'm sure my husband will love it....I'll just have to wait and see!

Thank you for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Do you all prefer the supplies listed? Or does it not matter to you?

  1. I've often wondered about the same supply question. I am running out of free time lately so I've skipped it. I think if people were curious and I didn't include it in my post, that they would email me.
Your card is wonderful, a perfect amount of masculine texture.

  2. Great masculine card, Shelly! I agree with Karen, it takes a long time to list and link the supplies, and I guess if someone really had a question about something they's ask. If I look at anything in supply lists it is usually regarding the stamps they used (what company makes it, the name, etc.).

  3. I think this is so beautiful! I love how you put the burlap shape below the longer patterned piece. I would have done the opposite, but this is so much more pleasing to the eye. Love the font of the sentiment too!

  4. P.S. I like seeing supplies lists :)
