Hey y'all! Happy Friday!

Hey everyone! Yeah, it's been a minute since I've posted anything...Sorry about that.

This week has been quite 'interesting'. On Tuesday, my youngest swallowed a penny. Which led me to take him to the ER because of how he was feeling. Once there, we found out it was lodged in the middle of his chest. After that, they transferred us to the children's hospital by ambulance. Once there, it was another waiting game. They were gonna put him under and remove the coin, but the doctor didn't want to have to do that because of the risks involved. So, they ended up putting a tube through his nose and pushing it down, into his stomach. Now were home, though it's another waiting game. He has 3 days to pass it, otherwise we have to go back. If we end up going back, I have no clue what they'll do. I'm crossing my fingers.

So you can see, an 'interesting' week and this all happened the night before the last day of school for my other kids. I did get my other kids to school, for the last day. Though a lot of running around for me and not really any sleep. The fact it's Friday, I don't even know how it's already here!

Okay, enough rambling. ;) I did stop in to share a card too! I'm not feeling the best today but somehow I manage to get a card made. I made this card for the current Casual Fridays challenge! It's been far too long, since I've played with them! I must try and keep up with things! ;)

Here is my card!

Honestly, I'm not sure if I'm lovin' this card or not??....I feel like my creativity is in some other place! It took me card after card, just to get this result. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day?....Let's hope so! :)

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your Friday! :)

  1. I love the simplicity of this card. It's bright and colorful, yet has all that lovely white space. Once, when I took my boys + my nephew to Wyoming, we went to Pamida with my stepmom. The middle child wondered if the machete he saw was 'sharp', and proceeded to run his finger down the blade....blood all over....he's still alive. You can em me if you have questions about the next possible step if the penny doesn't pass. I worked in surgery for years. Hope all goes well. Bev
