Hello, how are you?

Hey, y'all! Hope you're enjoying the weekend so far?! :) I'm stopping in today, to share a card I made for the current Virginia's View Challenge! This time 'round it's all about stencils...

Well, let me just say something. I've had a couple of stencils sitting around and they did need to be used. So, of course I pulled them out. Then I sat there and stared at them, for I don't know how long?...Then questioned, where/how do you begin using stencils?...Let's just say after of about wasting 10 pieces of cardstock, I finally was able to work something with the stencil. And something that I was actually loving! lol Whew! And now, I even went out today and bought another stencil! I can see this going in the same direction as what the 'watercolor' did! With that being said, thank you Virginia for not only for inspiring me, but for making this become an addiction! lol (That is said, with very much love) ;)

So, enough of me rambling on! Here's what I came up with!

Maybe it doesn't look like it took me that many tries, to get to this. Oh, but it did! For my colors you see, I used a good ol' paintbrush and dab it on my ink pad, then back in water, to make a 'wash' so to speak. Then applied that randomly on my stencil (though be careful, too much water was not good, nor too little. It's gotta be the happy middle place between the two.) Then I did the same technique with the pink. Though, the pink was from a gelato. So, I first had to smear that onto a piece of scrap paper. Then proceed with the water as before. So, what do you think?!!...

Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!
