Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Hey y'all! Happy, happy, Friday!! :)

Today, I'm swinging in with a card for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!! If you haven't seen it yet, you should definitely check it out!...Especially, if you love coffee or cocoa, tea, etc.! ;)

So, here's what I came up with!




I kept things nice and simple. I did some watercoloring and after, used A Jillian Vance Design's Coffee & Jesus stamp set. Once done, I used a couple dies (and added some foam tape on the back). Then added it to my kraft card base. To finish things off, I added some twine.
And let me just say, I went to battle with myself about 'twine or no twine'! lol I can't tell you how many pieces of twine I kept taking off, then thought it looked too plain, so I put it back on, then thought it was too much...take off...put back on...take off...put back on...lol

    Awesome water coloring! Such a fabulous card...love the coffee cup and sentiment! It's the second time I've seen that stamp set today! It must be calling me...just might have to buy it!:-)

    Great card Shelly, i love the twine, still keeps your card cas but just am extra detail ...and i love twine with kraft card :) i love the way you coloured the panel under the sentiment.

    Definitely think you did the right thing with the twine Shelly - twine always seem to add just the right amount of detail without overpowering the card doesn't it? Shame I'm rubbish at tying it! Love the colours you've chosen for this one..the watercolour background is gorgeous

    What a super cute card, Shelly. Great job. I love my coffee A LOT, but of course I love Jesus even more. After all, He is the one that gave us coffee! So, they go hand in hand.
