Happy Tuesday, hope all is well?!...
*I know I have been quiet lately and there is a reason for that, not one I wanted but you can read more at the end of this post if you're curious what's been going on.
Here's my card...
Let's make this card together!
- Start with an A2 card front.
- Tear the right side of the card front.
- With the right side torn, use a gold metallic paint pen and brush it on the torn side.
- Set a side and let dry.
- Take a piece of patterned paper and trim to fit an A2 cardbase.
- Adhere to cardbase.
- Take the torn card front panel and adhere to the card.
- Set aside.
- Use the sentiments with the card front pack along with Teresa's One and Done Sentiments die.
- Pick out a sentiment to use on the card. (In this case, Embrace the joy of winter.)
- Add foam tape on the back of the sentiment and add to the card.
- Adhere sparkling enamel dots.
That's it! So simple, right?!...I hope I inspired you today!

**So where have I been and what's going on??...Well, I wish I could say I was traveling or just relaxing, enjoying things but no, no, no...there were other plans for me. Long story short (somewhat?)
I ended up a couple weeks back having terrible (and I mean TERRIBLE) pain in my stomach. I tried to just ride things out and by day 3 finally said, something is wrong. I ended up in the ER and sure enough had a gallstone blocking my duct. So that needed to be removed. Well, the hospital I was at didn't/doesn't have a GI surgeon, so I had to be transferred to another hospital. When I finally got to that hospital, surgery was scheduled for a couple days later. Well, a couple days later came but had to push the surgery to the next day because the doctor wanted everyone at the best rather than it being at the end of the day/evening. (I completely understood that and thanked him for that.) The next day comes but not only am I having one surgery, I now will have TWO back to back surgeries because not only are they removing the gallstone, they are going to remove my gallbladder as well. (The doctor said it would be for the best because if I didn't I'd be right back in the hospital in 3-6 months with the same issue again. And that is something I don't want to experience again...so take it all! I just want out of pain!) Two surgeries in less than 24 hours apart, whoa! But they both went really well and the only thing I had to deal with was the pain from having surgery (which thankfully only lasted a 3-4 days) and my throat being rough from the tube(s) that were there during both surgeries (which is still at little rough but much better than before). I have to slowly reintroduce certain foods and I'm limited on lifting heavy things for a little bit. Overall, I'm looking at 6-8 weeks for a full recovery but within another week I can start to increase how much weight I'm carrying. I'm not used to being limited on activities because I'm always doing something but I'm learning to slow down and not to push myself. I'm thankful cardmaking is a 'light' activity and while it might take me some time to create a card (lots of breaks), at least I can still create things. :) So yeah, that's pretty much where I been and what happened to me.
