A Happy Birthday card.

Hey everyone, hopefully you're all having a great week, so far?!! Well, today I share with you a birthday card I made for my step-father. This month alone, is one of my busiest for birthday's! So, there will probably be a good chunk of birthday cards, popping up on my blog!

So, here's my card!

I have such a hard time doing masculine birthday cards! And for some reason, I don't think it will get any easier for me?! :/ My brain is gonna be on overload because this is only the first, of many more masculine cards to come!

I tried something, I've never tried before. And that was using Balsa Wood! I'm sure others have used it and I've been always wanting to play around with it. I have say, I'll probably keep playing around with it because I really do like what it looks like on a card! :) Maybe I'm in my own little world, thinking it looks good??....I'll just have to see what, you all think about it! :)

Woohoo!!! Yay!!!

Hey ya'll!! Today,  I have some BIG news to share with you!!

It all started, when I found out there was a DT call over at PSA Stamp Camp. If I remember right, I found out through a tweet on twitter?...Anyways, I decided to check it out and see if it was something I could manage to do. When reading everything, I decided yes...yes, I want to go for this! Now the application process was simple, tell a brief description of yourself and attach 3 photos of your best work/style. Easy right? Ha! It took me, I think about a day, to figure out what to say and what cards to show! lol I wanted to keep it brief, as it said to. So, no going into blah, blah,blah....and blah, blah, blah...just brief. Eventually, I figured everything out and emailed it over! I received a reply back stating, we received your app, thank you for applying, and we will let you know around Aug 14 or so if your chosen. Okay, so then it was a waiting game. Would I get chosen? How cool would it be, if I did?! I hope I sent in good photos? Was my description brief and good enough? Even though I went day by day, doing my normal routine of things, making it on the DT was always on my mind! And now....

Your looking at one of the new Design Team members for PSA Stamp Camp!!! I am beyond excited and honored to be a part of this design team! =)) There are some very talanted ladies on the team and I hope you join along for all the fun and projects, that will be shared?!! :) WOW! I still can't believe it, this is such a BIG (HUGE) step for me!! Yay!!

I also want to 'Thank You' for all the support/comments, you guys give me on my blog!! Without you all around, I wouldn't even be where I'm at! It always make me smile, when I read the comments you leave me...your all too sweet! :) I also enjoy, seeing your blogs and the creations you come up with, your all amazing! So, 'Thank You' again, for everything!!

Bazzill cards (& giveaway)!!!

Hey ya'll, hope you're enjoying the week!! This has been somewhat a busy week for me! Though, I'm enjoying every bit of it! :) Some good things happening...

Okay, so I share with you today a couple cards I made using Bazzill Basics new Beach House collection by Janet Hopkins!! These papers come in a 6x6 pack, double sided, and coordinates with Bazzill cardstock. They are so lovely! :)

With both of my cards I used the Beach House collection and Bazzill's Card Shoppe Cardstock. I kept both of my cards simple. I really wanted to showcase the Beach House collection.

Hey everyone, happy Saturday! Hope you're all enjoying the weekend!! :) I'm playing along with Casual Fridays Challenge again and as always, it's another fun challenge!

So, here's my card!

Now, I believe my quote on my card says "coral"??....I looked it up because I really had no clue what it said. If I'm wrong, I apologize for it now. :) It came with a ocean stamp set, that I got for my birthday a few years back. I really haven't used the set much...until now, that is! :)
