Whew! Middle of the week, already?!...A couple more days and it's Friday!! :) I'm telling you, I look forward to the weekends. lol

Anyhow, I have a card to share that I made for the current CAS-ual Fridays Challenge.

I've been meaning to play along with the past few challenges and then always got caught up with something. Though, I found some time to join in on this one! ;)

I think my card pretty much speaks for itself on what I did. ;)

Yes, I'm back so soon! lol

Another quick post...I also made a card over the weekend for the current Paper Smooches Challenge. It's a good thing I went over to the challenge to see when it ends...10 hrs and counting down! lol Talk about cutting it close. (I almost waited until tomorrow.)

Just some simple die cutting and a single stamp for my card. I started with my flower and then after chose some patterned paper that I thought would be fun and would make my flower 'pop'. After I assembled my card together with the sentiment banner and finishing it off with some twine. Easy peasy, yeah?!...

Hope your week is starting off right?!...

Just a short and sweet post today. I'm working on some DT projects as well as editing photos, though I found some free time over the weekend. ;)

I have another just for fun card to share. I recently won a new set from Craftin' Desert Divas and couldn't wait to ink it up! So today I'm sharing one of the characters from the set.

Cute, yeah?!...
I simply stamped on my image and then some coloring with colored pencils. After, I added my sentiment on a strip of white cardstock and then added a piece of patterned paper under it, along with some twine. Once done I added some foam squares on the back and then placed it on my card. Easy peasy, right?!...

Hope all is well?!...

I can say that I actually look forward to the weekends now! lol Not that I didn't before but it's different now since homeschooling my kids again. It's like that breath of fresh air and no need to wake up early (even though I still up early lol)...it's just nice. :)

Anyhow, I have a 'just for fun' card to share. I was going through my 'never ending stash of things that have been yet to seen ink' goodies and came across a couple sets I've been meaning to use but hadn't. Well, until now that is. ;)

Sweet, yeah?!...I wanted my little animals to look 'faded/worn' so I chose lighter colors and left some areas more plain than others. I'm not sure if you can even tell that by my photos?...but again I'm trying to work on my photo skills when using lighter colors. ;)

Once I was done with my coloring, I used the matching dies with them and then simply made a little scene with everything. Simple, yeah?!...

Cactus Hello

Hey y'all! Happy Friday!!
Hope all is well?!...

My kids and I officially made it through the first week of homeschooling! Woohoo! My kids have been enjoying themselves, which makes me think we made the right decision this year. I mean, they're actually looking forward to Monday! Say, what?!...lol I'm just happy they're enjoying it and the transitioning seems to be going smooth for them. :)

Anyhow, I do have a card to share today! Yay!
(Which my crafty time is certainly more in the evening now.)

I'm playing along with the current CASology Challenge.

It's like the challenge was calling to me...When I saw the cue card, I thought this couldn't be anymore fitting...I just happened to have a new cactus set sitting on my desk waiting to be inked up! Seriously, that rarely happens for me. So this was kinda a big deal. lol

Keeping things simple, I just stamped on my images and then did a little coloring with colored pencils. Once done I added my sentiment and topped things off with some twine. Easy peasy, right?!...
