Sweet Shop Stamp Release!

Hey y'all! Happy Tuesday!! I recently got the chance to play with some new release stamps, from Sweet Stamp Shop! I just wanna say, a BIG "thank you", to Nicole for letting me play with some super sweet stamps! So here I am, beyond excited today, to share some of the new releases with you!! :)

So, here's my first card!

I used the new Distressed Chevron background stamp, for this card. Now I still have yet, to have any washi tape(correction: I have ONE roll of washi tape. I just recieved it yesterday, in a prize package I won. Though, I have yet to use it.)! So, that left me with trying to create my own. And that's just what I did! :)

Here's what you need to make the tape.

1. A clear piece of vellum
2. Distressed Chevron background stamp
3. Inks (as many colors as you want)
4. Paper cutter
5. Clear adhesive

To put it all together, you just need to ink up your stamp. Then carefully stamp the vellum and let dry. After it's dry, use the paper cutter and cut into strips (you can choose how wide or narrow, you want them to be). Then hand tear, each of the ends. And then apply your adhesive and adhere them to your card. Easy, right?! :)

Now, here's my second card!

Again, I used the Distressed Chevron background stamp, along with the Chemistry stamp set. This time I ended up using a 'mask' to fill in my image. Maybe I should refer to it as a 'reversed mask'....because I masked off the outside of my image, so it left my hole in the middle, to where I can fill in my image?....Ha! Now, I could just be confusing you all! lol One way or another I masked off my image, so I could fill in the 'poof'. :) I then added my extra little 'poof' by the sentiment, in which I 'kissed' the stamps together.

Okay, and here is my last card!

For this card I used the Nesting stamp set, along with the Hello Beautiful stamp set. I thought that it would be perfect if I could use the 'face' of one of the nesting dolls, inside the mirror. I did some thinking and managed to figure it out! :) I stamped on my mirror and then used a 'LePlumeII' pen and outlined just my 'face' from the Nesting set. After outlining my face, I stamped it in the middle of my mirror. I then added a couple tiny rhinestones to the hair, for a 'clip' and also to give it an extra little 'pop'. :)

Thank you so much for stopping by! Also, don't forget to stop by the Sweet Stamp Shop blog and check out all the releases!! :) Have a great day!!
