howdy

Hey y'all! Happy Wednesday! Hope all is well?!...

My kids are on Spring break this week, so my time has been filled with some fun and craziness! ;)

I'm quickly swinging on in to share a card I managed to whip up, late last night. This time I'm playing along with the current Lawnscaping Challenge, which I'm cutting it close on this one! ;)



So, here's my card.


I recently won an online distress inks class (which I am soooo behind on). Though, I'm having fun learning different techniques and not too mention, all the inspiration that comes with it! ;) So, what I did for my background was using my distress inks directly on my paper. I chose two colors and just held the paper in place and ran each one across it. Easy, yeah?...Something so simple, yet it never even crossed my mind to do that! ;)

And I couldn't resist putting little googly eyes on that cactus! lol I think it adds some character. ;)

    This is super cute. You did a great job with the background. The green just pops against the blue and purple. I bought this cactus set last week and can't wait to ink it up. Thanks for the inspiration!

    Googly eyes on a cactus. Now that gave me a smile just when I needed it most! Such a sweet card. Love the ombre sky behind the cacti. Well done! Very cute and smiley card. Love it. Bev
