Congratulations

Hey y'all!
Hope all is well?!...

Today, I'm guesting at Casology! Yay! :)

Okay. 'Stencil' is the cue word. Well, let's just say I had to do some thinking on this. ;) I don't necessarily use stencils much and let alone, have very many. So I decided that I would make my own stencil from a die.

For my birthday my friend Monika sent me a card with some sweet little gifts inside. (Thank you again, Monika!) I really liked how the die looked, so I thought maybe...just, maybe...I could get it to work as a stencil for me. Which thankfully, it did. :)

I used some distress ink for my stenciling. When I got towards the edges, I just lightly blended my ink. I didn't want it to be too dark around the edges. After, I added some fun doubled stitched lines and my sentiment. Simple, yeah?!...

And let me just say, I swear to you that my sentiment is straight! lol I think by me thinking it would be fun to add doubled stitched lines slanted here and there, made things slightly off. lol At least for me it did. ;) Though, I kept it as is because I still do like it. :)

Be sure to swing on over to Casology to see all the DT cards and to join in on the fun!...Hope to see you there!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!
