Whew! Seems like it's been a minute since I last posted...and honestly, it probably has. But I am here today with a card to share! My kids are out of school today and tomorrow, so maybe I'll be able to get a good amount of crafting done. ;) At least that's my plan. heehee.
Anyhow, I made this card for the current CAS-ual Fridays Challenge.
Don't you just love pinks and greys together?!... :)
As you can see, I made a simple shaker card. I haven't made shaker card in awhile and thought it would be fun. I made a little ornament using some CAS-ual Fridays dies and I used one of the snowflake dies and then trimmed it down to a smaller size so it could fit into the middle of my ornament. Easy peasy, right?!...To finish things off, I added a stitched border to my card base before adhering my ornament. Then stamped a sentiment on a strip of white cardstock and added it to my card. Simple, yeah?!...

ReplyDeleteI fell in love with pinks and grays together when I was about 10 years old. Mom had gotten me a gray winter coat, and I had a pink dress (for church only, lol) and loved the way they looked together. This is reminiscent of those colors in my mind, so yep, I love this card. I love not only the colors, but the beautiful simplicity of the design. Your cards are always a delight. This one is no exception! Love it. Bev
