Sweet Wishes

I'm just stopping in today with a card I made for the current Lawnscaping Challenge! It's been way too long since I've played with them and when I saw CAS being the current challenge, you knew I had to join in on the fun! :)

I did a little bit of coloring and then added some little layers to my card with all my elements. Easy peasy, right?!...

I'm swinging in today to share a card for the current CAS-ual Fridays Challenge! For this challenge it happens to be all about Orange, Brown, and Kraft.

 

Well these are three colors I don't normally use much of, let alone together. Though, I wanted to challenge myself to do so. ;) 

I went with some orange flowers and adding a little touch of brown and kraft cardstock. 

Simple, yes. But I think I managed to use all three colors together quite well?!...

Thanks & Coffee

Hey y'all! Happy Monday!
Hope you're week is starting off right?!!... :)

Well, since last week wasn't so good for me, I'm determined to make this week better! However, I am feeling a little 'under the weather' today, so I hope this isn't the start of how things are gonna go?...I'm trying to stay positive. ;)

Anyhoo, I have two cards to share today! And both happen to be coffee themed cards. :) My first card is for the current SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge #21.

I saw that cup of goodness and instantly thought of coffee, which led me to making another simple CAS card. 

Yep. Nice and clean. Seeing the leaves in the photo, I wanted to make my card somewhat 'fall' looking. So I choose some kraft cardstock of my cup and a little plaid patterned paper to go with. After, I added a strip of dark brown cardstock with my sentiment piece on top. Which for my sentiment piece I used a off white/cream cardstock (3x) then used a light blue cardstock once for the top piece. 

I did battle myself about adding sequins or not and as you can see, I went not adding any. Though, I'm still second guessing myself about that. ;) Simple, yeah?!...

For my second card, it was just pure fun. No challenges, no DT work, just fun. 

'#COFFEE #COFFEE #COFFEE' pretty much sums it up, right?!...

I'm swinging back in today to share a card I made for the current Virginia's View Challenge...And you know it's another fun one! ;)

Keeping with my traditional CAS style, I did some simple watercoloring for my stripes. Once done drying, I added my sentiment piece in a dark blue ink (which it still probably looks black?...but believe me, it really is a dark blue. ;)). And after I topped my card off with some twine. Easy peasy, right?!...

Little Tangles Challenge
