Hey y'all! Happy Wednesday!
Hope all is well?!...

I know, I know, I've been sooo bad at visiting y'all lately and I sincerely apologize for that. Things have been good for the most part, though I've been trying to deal with an ongoing issue with one of my kids' teacher. It's very frustrating when things just aren't working out. I'm hoping something will be done soon and we can all just move forward.

Anyhow, I don't want to bore you or ramble on with my problems...lol ;)
I'm swinging in to share a card I made for the current Newton's Nook Designs Challenge and the current NBUS #7 Challenge.

So here's my card...

Wish my weather was better, so I could have more light. Though, it is what it is, I guess. ;)  

Such a cute little raccoon, yeah?!...

I recently won Newton's Nook Designs new Raccoon Rascals from their blog hop, so the timing was perfect for both challenges! :) 

I did some coloring and then after did a little fussy cutting. Once done, I added a couple little pieces of burlap and my sentiment piece, along with a few sequins. Easy peasy, right?!...

Today, I'm swinging in with a card for the current CAS-ual Fridays Challenge. I had a little down time from working on some DT stuff, so I thought I'd play along with a challenge. :)

I did some real watercoloring...I actually didn't resort to my 'piece of acetate'! lol For those that may not know, I usually do the whole ink on a piece of acetate and then lay it on my watercolor paper. And nothing is wrong with that, though I managed to let my watercolor paper and water spritzer do the work for me. :) I kept things simple and once my watercolor was done drying, I added my sentiment. Easy peasy, right?!...

Hey y'all! Happy Wednesday!
Hope all is well?!...

Well, my kids officially started school today and I am 'kids free' for hours! lol Honestly, I love having my kids around but I really do need the break...and I think they need a break from one another, too! ;) However, I need to get use to not having anyone here, not even my husband. I used to 'talk' to our cat when she was here (seriously, I'm not a crazy cat person...though who doesn't talk to their pet? ;)), so it really is quite lonely for me. Hopefully within the next few days or so it'll be easier for me. hopefully. ;)

Anyhoo, I'm stopping in today to share a 'just for fun' card.

I used some patterned paper!! lol I keep buying the stuff and then I just start hoarding it all! Not sure why I do that, though I'm gonna push myself more to use it. ;) 

You'll be happy to know, I'm still continuing to ink up sets that have never seen ink. However though, I must admit, I did cave in a little and bought a few more new goodies. Ugh. I was doing sooo good and then these darn new releases!...lol...I don't always buy new releases when they come out, then again, sometimes I do. ;) Please tell me, how can one always resist?!...
