Hope your week is off to a good start?!...
Today, I'm sharing my card for the current Waffle Flower Challenge! Another beautiful inspiration photo we have for you...
My inspiration came from the painting sitting on top of the mantel.
I kept things nice and simple.
I did a little watercoloring with my leaves. Then added my sentiments, which I used the sentiments die for the 'what makes you different makes you' part. After, I used the 'awesome' die with a piece of silver glitter cardstock and a piece of white catdstock. Which I layered together, then added it to my card. And to finish things off, I added a little twine. Simple, yeah?!...
Be sure to swing on over to the Waffle Flower Challenge to see all the DT projects! And while you're there, I hope you'll join us!! :)
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day and see you soon!

So pretty and soft!
ReplyDeleteI can think of so many youngsters who would appreciate this card. One of my granddaughters sees a bit of bullying at her school, and tries to deflect it away from the bullied child. I love the colors and the softness of the palm fronds and your sentiments in black and glittery silver. This is a wonderful card, and I really, really like it! Have a good week. Bev
ReplyDeleteYour background is so gorgeous Shelly, love the water coloring!!!!
ReplyDeleteSoft and Lovely!
ReplyDeleteDreamy, delicate and airy! I think Bev's idea - to give this to kids who may be experiencing bullying or a sense of not belonging - is brilliant! A gorgeous card to lift someone's spirits!
