Hey sweet friend!

Hey y'all! Happy Thursday, almost Friday!
Hope all is well?!...

I'm back sharing another no-line watercoloring card. No challenges or anything, just for fun and practice. ;) And I have to say, this card took me a couple days to do because I was trying a few different things.

I played with using different watercolor paper and whatnot and what seemed to work best for me was using heavy weight bristol smooth cardstock. I normally use a mix media cardstock but thought I'd try something else. For me, it seemed my colors were able to spread more easily and stay more vibrant. I found the drying time was fairly quick and just overall easier for me to grasp this whole watercoloring thing. ;)

I really enjoyed making this card because I felt more at ease and things just went smoother. I also think it looks way better than the others I've tried...well, that's what I'm thinking?...I'm still going to be playing around more...hoping to make some more progress in the watercoloring world. ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great day!

  3. I was so impressed with this when I saw it on FB, Shelly! You have every right to be very proud of your no-line painting! I think it looks very professional and like you've been at it for years and I'm sure if you found some challenges to play in, you would be the winner!! Hugs, Darnell
