The world is full of wonderful things (you can do anything)

Hey y'all!
Hope all is well?!...

Just a short and sweet post today. I saw the current Little Tangles Challenge and finally found some time to play along or perhaps I should say, an idea finally came to me! lol ;)

Here's my card.

Lately the only kind of watercolor that seems to work for me, is putting it on acetate and then spritzing it with water and laying it down on my card. I've tried the traditional way of water and a paintbrush, though it just don't wanna work for me. So, I think I'll be sticking to the acetate for a bit. ;)

I was going to just do some paper piecing without the watercolor, but I thought things needed to be 'grounded' more than just stamping the image on the card. Once I got all my watercoloring done, I stamped my images over it some and then proceeded to stamp the image on three different pattern papers. After, I did my cutting and decided to randomly place them 'here and there'. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment in a grey ink and then added my die cut sentiment piece. So what do you think?!...

Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

  3. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who struggles with watercolour - even the acetate technique doesn't work for me! Your card is delightful; the corner images are eye-catching and I do love that die cut...

  7. Nicely done. LOVE the diecut sentiment.

P/s Consider wetting the paper first and then let the watercolours flow on it.
