Tic Tac Toe'ing

Hey y'all! Happy Friday!!

Today we have a brand new challenge at CAS-ual Fridays!...And another fun one, it is! :)

So I chose to go straight across the middle. Coloring, Spritzing, and Die Cutting.
Here's my card.

I'm not gonna lie, this challenge took me some thinking and trail and error! lol At first I was gonna do some stitching, coloring, and distressing. Though, I couldn't think of what to do for the distressing part. Then, I didn't care for the stitching that I tried doing (mind you, I'm still using my daughters sewing machine. lol). So after looking over the challenge some more, needless to say, I went a different direction.

Again after some trail and error because I haven't spritzed much in years!! (note: It does help to hold the bottle further way from your card than close to it. And it helps to cover up areas where you DON'T want it! lol Learned the hard way there.) Though in the end, I finally got things to come together. ;) Would love to hear what you think?!!...

Be sure to swing on over to CAS-ual Fridays and see all the DT projects! And while you're there, I hope you'll join us?!! :)

Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy your Friday and weekend!

  2. Your spritzing is so much better than mine Shelly! It always looks awful when I do it! This is stunning - love the vibrant red against the white!

  3. Well you certainly came to a beautiful end with this card. So frustrating when nothing works but it was so worth it. This card is gorgeous and love your spritzing. And your flower colouring is perfect.

  6. I think your 'straight across' direction is perfect! Gorgeous flowers, fabulous spritzing (I have given up on water-colour anything, so this is especially lovely to me!), a little 'off the side' action....simply splendid!
