Little Tangles Challenge

Hey y'all! Happy Thursday!
Hope all is well?!...

Today we have a brand new Little Tangles Challenge! This time we're all about shakers/sequins. Super fun, right?!...

I really do love shakers, though I don't always make them much. Not sure why?...Perhaps, the time it takes to make them or just me sticking to my CAS style?...However, I put all things aside and made one! :)

Sooo let's not talk about how long this actually took me to make. lol If I had one of those fuse tool things, maybe it would have been much easier and faster!?! ;)
I used Neat & Tangled's Graduated Stripes Cover Plate and then added my acetate and ever so carefully, added my foam tape around the stripes and edges. I chose to only use part of the die as a shaker and the rest I left alone. Once I had my shaker, I used one of the 'stripes' from the die to stamp my sentiment on. After, I used Neat & Tangled's Sailmates stamp set for my boat. Which I stamped in a light grey ink and then did some fussy cutting with it. To tie things all together, I added some twine and a wood veneer anchor. Not really a hard card to make, just took some time to make. lol ;)

Be sure to swing on over to Little Tangles to see all the DT projects! And while you're there, I hope you'll join us! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day and see you soon!

  3. A fabulous shaker, Shelly! Mine are typically the 'plain' style, so seeing yours with the stripes: quite the impact! That little anchor is charming!
