I'm here for you (and a little bit of fun)

Hey y'all! Happy Thursday!...How is it Thursday already?!...Since the whole time change, I've been all over the place with my schedule! Trying to put my kids to bed at 6pm...yeah, that's not gonna work! lol Then waking up at 6am rather than my normal 7am...'early bird gets the worm' right?!...lol Eventually, I'll figure things out! Let's hope! ;)

Anyhow, today I'm sharing a card I made for the current Casology challenge.

So, here's my card.

(How this type of card came to me?...I'm not sure. But I hope nobody will need a 'I'm here for you' card soon.)

Now, I thought I would do something fun with this card and post! Being the cue card is 'sea' I thought it would be fun to see if anyone can guess how many "sea's" are in my card!?!...So tell me...

In my card, how many things do you see that have 'sea' in it?...And perhaps, a little clue to help you?...you may have to do a bit of thinking outside of the sea! Ha! That really may not help at all! lol ;)

Whoever guesses correctly first, there may just be a little package of goodies headed your way! ;) (If for some reason no one guesses correctly, I'll randomly choose a someone to receive some goodies!)

Thanks for swinging on by!
Enjoy your day!

*Note: I"ll leave the challenge open for a week or two. Please just be sure you're reachable, if you're chosen. :) Thanks!*

  1. LOL!! You are too cute!! :) All I know is from the sentiment...you can't "see" me! Maybe the "sea blue" color at the bottom...I am clueless!! LOL!! It's such a darling card and your do CAS very well! HUGS

  2. To me, I see a LOT of sea...the white space (the invisible sea), the wavy sentiment...everything except the grass. This is such a sweet CAS card, Shelly!

  3. Love the simplicity of the card. To take a wild guess on your question I will say 5? (Yeah I prolly have no clue what you are talking about, I am so bad at riddles....LOL!)

  5. I am most likely totally wrong, but seeing the grains and the sea blue, America the Beautiful gracefully comes to mind.. Amber waves of grain.... and the unforgetable "from Sea to Shining Sea'

Lovrly imagery, and a lovely card!

Thanks for such a lovely scene and joining CASology!!!

  6. I came over from CASology gallery to tell you how serene your card is! Love the way you have interpreted the cue word.
And about your game, well, I'm not sure, just making a wild guess, your name has 'Shell' in it, and so does a sea ;) hehe..

  8. Hi Shelly! Your card is so soft and beautiful...serene! I would guess the ink names have the word "sea" in them...sea foam green, etc.? In any case, thanks for joining us at CASlogy this week!

  9. Oh this is beautiful. Now apart from the obvious sea green colouring along the bottom of your card I'm guessing your foliage has been made by perhaps using a fish bone stamp, am I right? Looks fab regardless! :) x

  10. This is so calm and serene. Got me stumped on the quiz. Sea grass? Salty ocean blue ink?

  11. Oh, I am really no good at all at puzzles/riddles/trick questions, so I shouldn't even guess! I am really curious to SEA what the answer is, though!
All I know is that this card contains a beautiful sea sea-n (scene) for someone that maybe has un-sea-n (unseen) troubles. Then there are the "sea weeds" which remind me of wheat stalks (filled with seeds)???...good grief, I'm just blindly guessing! ;)
This is beautifully simple, Shelly! So serene and comforting to look at!
Thanks so much for joining us over at CASology!

  12. This is gorgeous, Shelly! I love the softness of the sea blue and the sweet little reeds. I feel like there's an obvious "sea" that's staring me in the face but for now it is eluding me. Perhaps I'll wake up in the middle of the night with an "Aha!" moment! LOL! Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!
