Hey y'all! Okay. So today I have something a little different. For me, at least. I've been seeing the Poppy Sketches challenge for a tiny bit. And really, I wanted to play from day one, but just never got around to it. Well, that is until now! ;)
And for me, either this card is a hit or miss?...I'm not sure if I'm totally diggin' it or not?...Part of me actually, loves it! And part of me is saying, what am I thinking! :/ I've been debating whether to even post it! Needless to say, I am. Though, I would like you to tell me your thoughts?!...Honestly, I want to know! Good, bad, okay, whatever it may be...I can handle it. I just wanna see if I made a good decision here?... ;)
So, going off the sketch (and yet, keeping things CAS), I chose to use a paintbrush with green ink and place a streak down the side. Then I grabbed some purple ink and used it with my butterfly stamp. Which after, I used my paintbrush again and just lightly moistened it and went over my butterfly with it. To finish things off, I used some brown ink with the sentiment pieces. And that's my card! So...yea, nah, maybe so?...I just don't know!?! lol ;)
Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

P.S.
Sometimes I think I may just be a little too hard on myself?...
Sorry, Shelly. You're normal... at least as far as I'm concerned! I think we all have these debates about some of the cards we make. This one is fine, no, it's good. The green swipe is awesome, the butterfly is good (me - not a huge butterfly on paper fan, but that's just me...), and I like the sentiment. It's a good card. Well done, in fact! Bev
ReplyDeleteShelly, I am totally digging this...it's stunning!! Thank you for playing at Poppy Sketches!
