Hey everyone, Happy Monday! :) Today I share a card with you that I made for The Play Date Cafe Challenge! If you haven't seen the challenge, you should check it out! :)
What fun and cool colors, these are!! And....Here's my card!
Now, I have to admit...for my card, I didn't really have a plan/idea in my head. I sort of just went with, whatever came to me at the time. It was a little tricky at first for me because I usually, always have some kind of idea in my head. I had no idea of what my outcome was gonna be and if I was going to like it?.....
Believe it or not, I used a 'sticker' on my card!! I don't normally do that! Though for this card, I thought it was a perfect fit for the 'pink' color. Which I did add a few little pink pearls to it. And for my 'just a note', I stuck with using a blue ink to match my base cardstock. For my yellow 'paper', I used a embossing folder.
Thank you for stopping by and enjoy your day!! :) And don't forget to check out The Play Date Cafe Challenge.... Don't just check it out....Play! :)

(block) HELLO.
Hey ya'll, Happy Friday!! It's that time again...for the weekend and Casual Fridays Challenge!! And what fun colors these are! :)
So, here's my card!
I kept it very simple. I used my pearls in the three different color shades and then added my 'HELLO' in the green. To top it off, I rounded the one corner. Easy, right?!! :)
Thank you for stopping by and have a great weekend!! Oh, and don't forget to play along at Casual Fridays Challenge... so much fun! :)

Happy....
Hey everyone, hope your all having a great week so far!! Today I share with you a card I made for the Tuesday Trigger Challenge, over at the Moxie Fab World!
So, how sweet is that picture?!! And now for my card!
For my card, I tried staying somewhat 'settle' on my color(s). I wanted it to be soft with a little punch of color(s). I instantly saw the Tuesday Trigger picture and thought "birthday"! For my faux 'ruffles' I used two different shades of chalk (yep, I whipped out my chalk again). To get the scallop part, I used a piece of paper, that was from a die cut. I think it came out how good?...But now as I look at my picture, I seem to think my quote is somewhat not 'even'!?!...Grrr....That's gonna drive me nuts, now!! lol If you only knew, how bad I am with "everything MUST be straight"!
Thank you for stopping by today and don't forget to check out the Tuesday Trigger Challenge, so you can play along!! :)

Hello....flower.
Greetings everyone, Happy Monday! To start my week off, I'm sharing a card I made last night. It was sort of a 'spur of the moment' type of card. :)
I was playing around with some old 'ghost' flowers, I found in my stash of products. I decided to just use some fun papers, behind them. Then I saw my crimper and thought, I need to use that too! In the end, I got a sweet little card. :)
Thank you for stopping by today and enjoy your week!!
This is the best, I could do with my lighting today. It's cloudy and I caught a little glimpse of light, as much as I could. |

Let's mix it up!
Hey everyone, hope your all having a great weekend!! I had a fun filled day at the beach yesterday and now, today is a somewhat 'take it easy' day! :) I've been playing with Casual Fridays for the past couple challenges. And today, I'm playing again! I've been somewhat on a roll lately...also, I made it into the 'contenders' list again! Woohoo! :)
So, here's my card!
I wanted to do something fun and different. So, what I did for this card was...To get my glitters the way I did, I took a black piece of cardstock. I put some glue on top of my cardstock and put it on, in the shape of a starburst/flower (sadly, you'll never get the same shape but that's what makes each card different).
After putting on my glue, I used a scrap piece of paper and placed it on top (pressing firmly down and not moving the paper around).
I then took it off.
After, I placed my colored cardstock on the black cardstock with glue (I did not add anymore glue, just used what was left on there) (again, pressing firmly and not moving it around).
When I lifted off my colored cardstock, I then used three different colors of glitter.
I put little color, here and there. Then added another color, doing the same thing and so on.
It was a messy project but I like what, I got out of it!
It somewhat reminded me, of what you used to do in school. Having a piece of paper and putting glue in the middle, then closing it together. Then you have your butterfly, when you open it back up. Ahh, maybe that's just me?.... :)
Thank you for stopping by today and enjoy the rest of your weekend!! Also, don't forget to head on over to Casual Fridays, so you can play along!! :)
P.S.
Hopefully, these photo's will show a better example of what I did?! :) You'll have to forgive me, as I'm not always the best at explaining things on paper...in this case, blogging about them! :)

You can really do, any shape you like. |
After putting on my glue, I used a scrap piece of paper and placed it on top (pressing firmly down and not moving the paper around).
My cardstock is textured, that I'm using. That's where the different 'lines' come in at. |
I then took it off.
After, I placed my colored cardstock on the black cardstock with glue (I did not add anymore glue, just used what was left on there) (again, pressing firmly and not moving it around).
As you can see when you pull off your cardstock, you can see some lines. |
Again, using textured cardstock. Depending on how you set your first piece of cardstock, then placing this one down. That's how you'll get your lines. |
When I lifted off my colored cardstock, I then used three different colors of glitter.
Yes, the black will bleed. If you do not like this, you could just use white cardstock. I thought the black, gave it somewhat a outline and cool effect to it. You could also try other colors as well. |
I put little color, here and there. Then added another color, doing the same thing and so on.
After putting my colors on (as the above picture shows), I tapped off the access and just replied the glitter, all mixed up. |
It was a messy project but I like what, I got out of it!
It's something different everytime! Compare this card, to my card on my post. |

Undeniably you
Hey everyone! Hope your all having a great Friday!! I'm happy for the weekend to be here...hoping to relax a little! :)
The card I share with you today, is just something I whipped up! It's not for any kind of contest or submissions, etc. I recently was able to do a 'little' shopping and I picked up some new products. For this card, I used some new glitter tape I bought, as well as a new embossing folder I bought. And as you might notice, my little flower...guess you could say, I love that die of mine (always seems to be the perfect little flower to me)! Now, I must say too...I 'almost' messed this card up by inking up my stamp with black ink, rather than my gold ink! I think that would have not been good....?....The gold, is such a perfect match (in my opinion)! :)
Thank you for stopping by today and enjoy your weekend!! :)
I had to take the picture at a angle, so the 'gold' in the quote would show. |
Front shot, of card. |

Let's get together!
Hey everyone, hope your all enjoying your Saturday! Once again, I'm playing along with Casual Fridays challenge!! :) Oh, and it's a fun one (as they all are)!
For my card, wanted to do something really fun! I chose some strips of zebra paper and added a 'cool' blue cardstock behind it. Wanted the zebra strips, to 'jump' out some. I thought, my quote added the perfect touch to it...?! And I actually didn't use any other embellishments (that's rare for me)! :)
Thank you for stopping by and enjoy your day! And don't forget to go over to Casual Fridays and play!! :)

Play Date Cafe Challenge!
Hey everyone! Hope your all having a great week so far! I can't complain here. :) So, my post today is for The Play Date Cafe Challenge! If you haven't checked it out yet, you should!! :)
Here's my card!
Some fun colors....makes me feel and think of 'paradise'!! Now, I'm looking at my card in two ways. Either I nailed it, with the colors? Or completely, failed it with the colors? I went with the best I could to match up the colors. I feel my card came out great but then, I'm thinking "maybe I didn't use enough of one?...Maybe I should have done something differently/else?". I really don't know, but I said "I'm entering it anyways!".
I had fun making this card! I was in total flow of everything (mostly because I had my headphones in and music playing, blocked everything out)...I stamped my image on and started chalking away, with my colors. I chose not to put any quote because I wanted my flower to be the attention. I did add, a few pearls. And I did use foam squares on the back of my image, when attaching to my card (I felt it needed to be raised?). Overall, I"m happy with it! :)
Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!! Don't forget to play along at, The Play Date Cafe!! :)

It certianly is Monday!
Hey everyone! Happy Monday! Well, this Monday is starting off, not so good for me! :( I was going through my photo albums online and I was deleting some photos, I thought I didn't need anymore. Long behold, some that I deleted...also, were taken off some blog posts!!! Grrr.....Really?....I think it's way too early, to deal with this. And to start off the week this way?!!!......Something tells me, it's gonna be a crazy week! :/ So, I was able to replace some that were taken off. Others, I can not. I went back on my blog, but I'm not exactly sure how far back some of the photos were?? With this being said, you may come across some photos with a 'error' or not there. Sorry...Everything more recent seems, just fine. :) That's a relief.
Hopefully, you all understand? And no more deleting for me....at least for awhile! lol :) Also, you may have noticed my blog, has some changes to it! Tell me what you think?!! I was playing around with it last night and wanted something a little more 'simple'?.... :)
Thank you for stopping by and enjoy your day!!!

We're the perfect blend.
Greetings everyone, hope your all having a great end to the weekend?!! :) It's Sunday and I'm always about taking it easy, on Sunday's. I don't do much but lounge around the house, with my kids!
Okay, so I saw this weeks Cas-ual Fridays Challenge and knew I had to play.....again!! Oh, and let me just say "I made it into the contenders, on the last challenge!". How cool is that?!! :) I was sooo happy, making that far!! Okay, okay, enough about me. lol Now, this weeks challenge is to use 'text'.
So, here's my card!
Keeping it CAS again. I wanted to focus on the 'text' and not have anything out shine, the text. For my coffee beans, I whipped out the 'prismacolor' colored pencils (really, I should say "I went into my husbands stash and used them!" lol he has yet to know, I did so!). After coloring in my beans, I felt my card still needed a little something else? I really couldn't see using any gems or anything, so I went for twine! I think it worked perfectly?...It gave it a little something else, without taking away my main focus....hopefully?! :) And for my 'text', I used two inks (black for my three words and a brown for my 'blend').
Thank you for stopping by today and have a great day!! And don't forget to stop by Cas-ual Fridays... go and play along!! :)

Happy (early) 4th!
Hey everyone, hope your all having a great week so far?!! :) This week is sure busy for me! Not only do we have lots of celebrations going on for the 4th, but my daughters birthday is also on Friday the 6th!! I can't believe my little girl is gonna be 7!! Where does the time go??!
Okay, so I made this card to share with all of you and say "Happy 4th!!". I hope you all enjoy your festivities, that you may have planned! My family and I, are taking it easy. The plan is, to go to a parade in the morning and then watch some fireworks at night. Though most of the time, we end up playing everything by ear...sometimes with kids, you just never know!?! :)
Thank you for stopping by and enjoy your day!! And again, enjoy your 4th! See you all soon...
