Happy Birthday

Hi y'all!
Happy Saturday, hope all is well?! :)

I'm swinging in to share a card I made for Amy's Woodblock Wednesday feature. Since the sponsor this time around is Hero Arts, that's exactly what I chose to use! Without further ado, here is my card...

I have some HA woodblock stamps but not too many, so I dug out the ones I had and then did some thinking. After playing around and throwing away things right and left (because things just weren't coming together for me), I took a break. The next day, things finally were coming together for me! Whew! (lol) I still had some throwaways but this time it was because I was trying different color combos and arrangements. In the end, I wouldn't change a thing on how this card came together. I might have needed a break but it was still fun putting things together and working with woodblock stamps. ;)

Well, that's all for me.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great day and see you soon! :)

P.S.
The HA 'Happy Birthday' stamp I used, my mom ended up finding at a thrift store for 50 cents!! Good looking out, right?! ;)

You MAKI me smile

Hi y'all!
Happy Thursday, almost Friday! :)

I'm sharing a card I designed for Scrapbook Pal. I'm using Avery Elle's On A Roll stamp set. Without further ado, here is my card...

Let's make this card!

1. Start with stamping (and masking) the images in black ink on a marker friendly cardstock/paper.

2. Color in the images using Copic markers.

3. Stamp on sentiment in black ink.

4. Adhere panel to cardbase.

That's it. You made this card! Easy peasy, right?! :)

Have a great day and see you soon!

Thanks so much

Hi y'all!
Hope all is well?! :)

I'm up on the Scrapbook Pal blog today sharing this card...

I'm not sure about you, but don't you think flowers and thank you's just go together? With Spellbinders Floral Stems you can create so many flowers or a bouquet of flowers and that's exactly what I did!

Let's make a card!

1. Start with all the die cutting of the flowers, leaves, etc. Use Spellbinders Floral Stems with a variety of colored cardstock. Make the flowers and then set things aside.

2. Use Spellbinders Zig Zag Chevron die with white cardstock, make sure to use the die twice, so the two can layer together. Then set aside.

3. Take the card base and add a solid colored cardstock to the base. In this case I chose a darker blue.

4. Adhere the chevron die cut panels to the card base.

5. Add flowers in a bouquet arrangement. (Before adhering things, make sure things are where you want them.) On some of the flowers add foam tape on the back to give them a little more of a 'pop'.

6. Hot foiling time! Use Spellbinders Hexi Gem Sentiments with Spellbinders Glimmer Gold Hot Foil. After, use with the matching die.

7. Lastly, add the hot foiled sentiment to the card. That's it!

You just made this card!
