Happy Sunday!
Hope all is well?!...

Today is nothing but rain here and there's no sign of it clearing up. Not even a slight break in it...just rain. And cold. Needless to say, it's a 'stay warm and cozy...do some cooking/baking...watch some TV...do some crafting' kind of day. ;) 

I'm swinging in to share a card I made for the current Pink Fresh Studio Challenge. 

For this challenge you get to choose which month you are inspired by/want to do...With so many decisions it was hard to choose, but I ended up going with October. October's theme was all about fussy cutting and/or die cutting. 

I had no actual plans or anything, just pulled out a few goodies I haven't really used and just went with the flow. Overall I kept things simple and just used some different pink and red inks for my background. Then for my die cut sentiment I did the bottom half in gold glitter cardstock to give it an extra 'pop'. Easy peasy, right?!...

Happy Saturday! Hope all is well?!...

Well, (knock on wood) my head isn't hurting anymore. I think that headache yesterday was more of a migraine...really took a toll on me. Whew. Hopefully no more of that. ;)

Anyhow, I'm swinging in today to share another 'just for fun' and no-line watercoloring card. I've been still practicing away with the watercoloring...even though they may take me DAYS to finish, I think they are worth it in the end. :) I'm sure others can do a whole watercolor card in the same day, but I'm just not at that level yet. lol

Once again, simple. And please excuse my slightly crooked sentiment...I was not going to start over! lol

Happy Wednesday, hope all is well?!...

I'm sharing a pretty simple card today, which this card actually reminds me of when I first started making cards. ;)

Pretty straight forward. Just a little bit of patterned paper, simple stamping and coloring, and a simple layout. Nice and easy, right?!...

I'm going to enter this into Virginia's , Show and Share Challenge. If you haven't heard or seen about it yet, you should definitely check it out. ;) I used to play along with her other challenges, so to see this challenge start up, I was so happy. They are always so fun and inspirational! :)

Coffee and friends

Hope your week is starting off right?!...

Today, is one of the 'cozy up inside' kind of day. It is so cold here and windy on top of it, which just adds to the cold factor. So I've been taking it easy, cooking and crafting. 

I'm sharing a fun coffee card using some Honey Bee Stamps goodies. I saw their Facebook challenge is all about coffee, tea, and cocoa...

I really just was having some fun with this card. I had no idea where things were going...I started messing with things late last night and then this morning finished things up. I was actually surprised it came together...somehow. lol

Hey y'all! Happy Thursday, almost Friday!
Hope all is well?!...

I'm back sharing another no-line watercoloring card. No challenges or anything, just for fun and practice. ;) And I have to say, this card took me a couple days to do because I was trying a few different things.

I played with using different watercolor paper and whatnot and what seemed to work best for me was using heavy weight bristol smooth cardstock. I normally use a mix media cardstock but thought I'd try something else. For me, it seemed my colors were able to spread more easily and stay more vibrant. I found the drying time was fairly quick and just overall easier for me to grasp this whole watercoloring thing. ;)

I really enjoyed making this card because I felt more at ease and things just went smoother. I also think it looks way better than the others I've tried...well, that's what I'm thinking?...I'm still going to be playing around more...hoping to make some more progress in the watercoloring world. ;)

I'm swinging in today to share a card I made for the current Altenew Inspiration Challenge.

I decided to try my hand at some no-line watercoloring (again). I'm still trying to learn more with the whole watercolroing thing and how to grasp it better. Hopefully with more time I'll get better at it. ;) Though it is relaxing, isn't it?!...

As you can see, I kept things very simple. I just worked in different areas at different times until the first area was dry and so on. After, I added on my sentiment and topped things off with some burlap twine. Simple, yeah?!...And I know you probably can't tell, but my sentiment is stamped in a darker green ink. ;)

If I'm being honest, I really had know clue what I was going to do to incorporate 'frozen' into my card. What kept coming to my mind was 'frozen in time' but I had no stamps that I came across that 'grabbed me' to even make something like that. Though, what I came across was some frozen ice cream treats! So of course, I just went that route. ;)

Anyhow, I'm still using up some 'new to me' Christmas goodies. No challenges or anything for this card. Though, I was inspired by THIS card from Miriam. Thank you Miriam for the inspiration! :)

I loved how Miriam did her coloring to be sepia toned, though I wasn't sure if I could pull that off. So I went more a black and white and grey tone of colors. Then I chose to 'pop' two of the flowers out by coloring them a nice aqua color. And that's about it. Simple, yeah?!...

Happy Tuesday! Hope all is well?!...

I'm swinging in today sharing a fun card for the current Paper Smooches Challenge. This month is 'anything goes' and thought it'd be perfect to put to use some 'new to me' Paper Smooches goodies. ;)

Boy, did I have a hard time editing this photo!! I still don't think the photo does this card justice but it's the best I could do...I think it person it's way better. ;) Anyhow, I kept things nice and simple. Did some coloring with markers, which I'm still practicing and pushing myself to learn more. Though, I don't think I did that bad of a job?...After coloring, I added a little 'ground' under the birds and then stamped on the sentiment. For a finishing touch, I added just little bit of ivory burlap twine. Simple, yeah?!...

Oh, how time just passes on by...2019 already! Best wishes to you in the New Year! I don't make any resolutions or anything but I'm hoping to be blogging more and seeing y'all around more. :)

I have a fun and simple card to share, today.

Fun, right?!...I was wanting some of those CAS-ual Fridays Stamps coffee sets, so I finally bought a couple as a Christmas present to myself. (though, I still had my husband wrap them and put it under the tree. lol)

For my coffee cup I used some of the Nuvo Shimmer Powder with watercolor paper and just let the water do it's thing. Then after things were dried, I simply did some quick and easy die cutting. After, I stamped on my sentiment piece and placed some foam tape on the back of my cup. Before adding the cup to my card, I used a stitched die for my card base and then stamped on some leaves in black ink. Then once done, added my cup. Super simple, right?!...I did think about adding some jewels or twine or something...but just couldn't figure anything out, so took it as a sign not to add anything else. lol ;)
