Thanks a bunch

Hey y'all!
Tuesday, already?!...First I thought Sunday was Monday and now it's Tuesday already. This week seems to be going by fairly quickly.

Anyhoo, I'm stopping in today to share a card I made for someone...I don't want to say who because they'll be getting some happy mail soon. ;)

Yep. I pulled out those Clearly Besotted stamps, again! Seriously, they're just too cute!...Don't you think so?!...I did a little watercoloring for my background and then after, I added my little critters. Which I colored with markers. And before adhering down my critters, I added my sentiment first. ;)
Oh, and you see that stitched die again?! lol I should just hide those things...Hoping you're not tired of seeing them?! ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day and see you soon!

Happy news!!

Hey y'all! Happy, happy, Monday! :)
Yes, it's Monday and I said 'happy' twice! lol But it is a really double happy day for me!

Have y'all seen the announcement on the SRM Stickers blog?!...
I'm beyond thrilled to say...I will be joining the SRM Stickers Design Team!! Yay! :) Thank you sooo much, Susan, for having me!!

I was on the SRM Stickers Design Team in the past and truly enjoyed it! So I'm excited to be returning and can't wait to share all my projects with you! As many of you may know, my style is usually clean and simple. Though, sometimes I like to change things up a bit. After all, I have to keep y'all on your toes right?! ;)

To give y'all a little peek at what's more to come...I made a card to share with you today.

Be sure to swing on over to the SRM Stickers blog to see the Design Team announcement...and while your there, I'd truly love it if you'd leave some love as well. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day and see you soon!

Congrats

Hey y'all!
Wait...Seriously I just wrote this. *Whew! Monday, already?!...Where did the weekend go?! ;)
Hope your week is starting off right?!*  What the what?!...Where is my head?...I really did think it was Monday and was scrambling to write up this post! And not only was I scrambling to write up this post but I was doing the same with editing my photo! Especially, when my battery indicator kept flashing red! lol I think I'm gonna take a little break after this. lol ;)

Anhyhoo, I just was stopping in to share a card I made for the current CASology challenge. Talk about down to the wire! lol ...Though, I made it in time! :)

Really, I had no clue what I was doing with my card! I had this Altenew set for a little bit and had never used it until now. I definitely have to play with it more. ;)

So I just randomly stamped on my images and for some I tried following the pictures/instructions included with the stamp set. By no means this is perfect, though I do like it. After stamping my images, I used that darn stitches die again (lol), and then I added my silver die cut 'congrats' to finish my card off. Simple, yeah?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great SUNDAY and see you soon! ;)

Thanks

Hey y'all! Happy Friday!! ;)
Hope you're enjoying the day and start to Summer?!

*For my AJVD post and sneak peek, please scroll down.*

I'm just swinging back on in today share a card I made for the current CAS-ual Fridays challenge!

I feel like I'm channeling Kelly for my card...by all means, I can't pull things off how she does but she had some great tips (and cards) on stamping on patterned paper. ;) Honestly, I have sooo much patterned paper, that I really need to start using it more. And with the help of Kelly reminding me, hey it's okay to just simply stamp on patterned paper...well, that's just about all I needed to hear!

I'm not sure how this photo looks to you?!...Though, for some reason this card was very difficult for me to photo/edit. This was the best one, out of probably 30 or so. lol ;)

I used a simple pink honeycomb patterned paper for my base and stamped on my Posies in a grey ink. After, I simply stamped on my sentiment and then added some twine, along with a little gold glitter enamel heart. Quick and easy, right?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day and see you soon!

P.S.
I know, I know...I've been sooo behind on visiting you all and I apologize for that. Not only Summer and my kids get the best of me but working on DT stuff as well as a few other things that are coming up, suddenly my time is very limited. Though, I'm determined to figure out some kind of temp schedule...I just need to figure out what that is!?! lol Please bear with me...Thanks for understanding! <3

Life is short...Stay awake for it

Hey y'all! Happy Tuesday!
Hope all is well?!...

Just a quick stop in for me today. ;)

As I'm sure many of you know the Summer Coffee Lover's blog hop is in full swing! I had a little bit of free time aside from working on some DT stuff and wanted to be sure I was able to make at least one coffee card! :) And...sigh...slowly I'm trying to play catch up on commenting, though I'm not sure if I'll make it this time around?...My kids certainly have a lot of my 'free' time. ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Snail mail

Hey y'all!
Hope your week is off to a great start?!!...

I'm trying to keep somewhat of a schedule but it's really not working well. lol Especially, with my kids home all day. ;) I think my posts and blog commenting will be a little over the place...though, know I'm still around. Just extra busy.

Anyhow, I'm just swinging in today to share a 'just for fun' card. I'm still trying to play around with all the goodies I have yet to ink up. ;)

For my card I used Waffle Flower Crafts new Snail Mail stamp set with the matching dies. I kept things very simple. Just did some coloring, added a touch of patterned paper, and put it all together. Nice and easy, right?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day and see you soon!

Happy birthday!

Hey y'all! Happy Wednesday?...I think that's right?! ;)
Hope all is well?!

Now, before I get to my card. Could you help me out some?...You see, late last night I got a new laptop. My last one was obviously a 'lemon'. I mean having it serviced 3 times though HP and then another issue last night that ended up with me going to store where I bought it so they could look at. No computer I know, should be having that many issues. And even the tech guy had to agree with me. It was no good. Thankfully, I purchased the extra 2 yr warranty on it and the store was so helpful and went out of their way to get me situated! I even saved some money and got the difference put back on my credit card! That's a win win if you ask me. ;)

Anyhow, since having different laptop, of course my photos look way different than before. Of course. So I'm thinking now, maybe they suppose to look this way and my old laptop was just off?...I don't know. Though, if you could let me know how my photo looks to you, that would be so helpful to me! ;) Then I can least know if I'm somewhat on the right track of things or if I'm just way off on things. lol (Honestly, it wouldn't be the first time I was off on something.)

Okay, so here goes. And believe it or not, I'm gonna enter this into the current Creative with Stamps challenge! Good or bad photo, it's going in the pot! ;)

Sooo...what do you think?!...

I used some new Waffle Flower Crafts goodies and really just had some fun with them! I didn't have a layout for my card, let alone what I was even gonna do. Just went with the flow. ;) Somehow it all worked out in the end. lol Thankfully.

*Here is the same card I edited on my old laptop. Does it look better, worse, somewhat the same?...on my end it looks dark in the background but bold up front.*

Thanks so much for stopping by and helping me out some!
Have a great day and see you soon!

I think you're amazing

Hey y'all! Happy Monday!
Hope your week is off to a great start?! :)

Today I'm swinging in to share another card I made for the current CAS-ual Fridays challenge!

I actually had this card done for a little bit, but have been trying to get some decent light. ;) Once again, I used the Mon Ami stamp set along with the matching die set.

Instead of having purple flowers like my last card, I chose red. I decided to stamp my sentiment in the middle of my card, then worked my flowers around it. Once done, I finished things off with some clear sequins. Simple, yeah?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day and see you soon!

CASology Featured Designer-Post 4

Hey y'all! Happy Friday! :)

I'm swinging back on in to share my last CASology Featured Designer post! I have had sooo much fun being featured...thank you again, Melissa!! :)

So here we are with today's post, sharing a peek into where all the creativity happens. ;) Without further ado...Let's take a look!

*Note: I probably should have cleaned my area better, though I didn't want it too clean because you may not have believed that I use it! lol*

(I always have a jacket or sweater on the back of my chair...darn hot and cold flashes! lol)
(My desk is an 'L' shaped desk with storage on the end, underneath, and drawers on the other side. Those piles of stamps/dies on my desk?...I always put my new stamps/dies on top until I use them, then put them away. And I do always put them in clear sleeves before anything. ;))

(Twine, mambi sheets (addicted to those!!...they make great bags, wrapping paper, etc.), sticker maker, and light box are stored here.)
(All my stamps and dies are stored in these clear containers. Except for my wood mount stamps, those are in the kraft photo box.)
Sequins and more sequins. Those little bags hold all my random embellishments (buttons, flair, etc.), which I labeled with washi tape.
(Washi tape, a few more embellishments (mostly enamel dots), and colored pencils.)
This was my desk when I first got it. As you can see, I rearranged a few things on top. My drawers are filled with my stamping blocks/tools (top drawer), ink pads (middle drawer), and cardstock/watercolor paper/vellum/etc. and a few more tools (bottom drawer).
Believe it or not, my work space is nothing but a corner in my bedroom. Yep. One corner and nothing more. I recently upgraded my work area with an actual desk because before I went through a number of things. From the floor, to tv tray, to an old entertainment center, etc...so a desk was a big thing for me! ;) I searched and searched for a desk that would not only fit in the corner but would hold everything that I had. Thankfully, I was able to find something that not only fit and held everything, but was affordable for me. :)

I couldn't be any happier with my space! Though I will still probably tweak a few things because well, that's just what I always seem to do! lol ;)

I hope you enjoyed everything I've shared with you?!!...Thanks again for having me, Melissa!! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your Friday and weekend...see y'all soon!

AJVD post-Yellow Rose

Hey y'all! Happy Friday! :)
Hope all is well?!!...

I've made it through a week of having no caffeine!! I won't bore you with all the details but I will say, talk about side effects! lol Honestly though, they are no joke. Granted I'm still going but just slooooowly. ;)

Anyhow, I'm up on A Jillian Vance Design blog today. I'm sharing another card using the beautiful rose set. Here's a little peek.

I'd love it, if you'd swing on over to A Jillian Vance Design blog and leave some love there! :)

You've got this

Hey y'all! Happy Wednesday!
Hope all is well?!... :)

Just a short and sweet post for today.
I'm swinging on in to share a card for the current CAS-ual Fridays challenge!

I used the Mon Ami set for my flowers, along with the matching die. I stamped my sentiment (which is from the Dream Then Do set) in the middle of my card and then arranged the flowers how I wanted them. Nice and easy, yeah?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day and see you soon! :)

You're my treasure!

Hey y'all! Happy Tuesday! :)
Hope all is well?!...

Today I'm stopping in to share a card I made for the first The Heart Desires Challenge!

So this being the first challenge, I can only hope I read things right. ;) From what I believe you can use one, two, or all three elements...I chose two. Sea creatures and colors.
*It does say sea creatures, though I only have a sea creature. lol So hopefully it still works. At least I have the colors, though. ;)*

I used some old and new Waffle Flower Crafts goodies. I'm not sure why I waited so long to buy that Tiger & Lily stamp set?!!...Love it! ;)

Anyhow, I did some coloring with markers and then after had some fun with the new Instalove frames. I decided to have two white frames and one striped frame, which I layered/fanned out on my card base. After, I put my scene together inside of my striped frame. To finish things off, I added my sentiment (which I used the Sentiment die with it), then added some sequins and twine. Simple, yeah?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day and see you soon! :)

I'm all ears

Hey ya'll! Happy Monday!
Hope your week is off to a great start?! :)

Today I'm sharing my card for the current Waffle Flower Challenge!

Don't you just love the inspiration photo?!...So pretty, right?!...
Here's what I came up with.

I tried to keep my card nice and soft. I was inspired by the softness of the colors, so I tried going in that direction of things. I stamped all my images, did some coloring with colored pencils and then used the matching dies with them. I also sponged a little bit of blue distress ink for my background. After, I layered my die cut pieces together. Simple and sweet, yeah?!...

Be sure to swing on over to the Waffle Flower Challenge to check out all the DT projects! And while you're there, I hope you'll join us!! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

CASEplorations Guest Designer

Hey y'all!
Hope all is well?!... :)

Recently I was asked by Maria if it would be okay to CASE my card at CASEplorations and if I'd like to CASE myself, if so. Of course, I said yes! :) Thank you so much to Maria and all the ladies for having me!!

Talk about tough! lol Have you ever tried CASEing yourself?!...Let's just say I was a complete mess trying to figure out what I was doing!...I had one of those 'what was I thinking?!!' moments. lol Though I stuck with it, after a mild break. ;) And wouldn't you know, I actually managed to CASE my own card! :)

For my card, I decided I wasn't going to use the same stamps/dies as before. Though, I would try to keep the colors pretty much the same and the overall shape/layout. I think I did okay?!...

To keep things feeling 'soft', I colored my flower with colored pencils rather than markers. Afterwards, I did some thinking on how to add some gold. Not having any metallic gold paper left, I had to figure something out...Which eventually, I ended up going to the craft store and buying one sheet of a metallic gold woodgrain cardstock. (I somewhat stumbled upon it and thought it was nice looking.) Once I had this cardstock, I used a circle die with it, stamped on my sentiment and called that part good. ;) After, I added another die cut piece behind my circle. Once done, I put everything together and added it on my card base.

Be sure to swing on over to CASEplorations to see all the DT creations! And while you're there, I hope you'll join us!! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

CONGRATS...So happy for you

Hey y'all! :)

*For my Little Tangles post, please scroll down.*

I'm swinging back in today to share a card for the current CASology challenge! This happens to be their 200th challenge as well! Yaay, CASology!! :)

Being the cue card is CAS and it's their 200th challenge, I thought I'd dedicate my card to them!

Super CAS, right?!...I had so much fun making this card!
Did you see Waffle Flower Crafts Sketchy Alpha stamp set?!!...(Well, you have now. ;)) Though, when I saw that set, I knew I had to have it! :)
I chose to do each letter in a different color. Which let me be completely honest with you...I know some people are very precise about having their colors in exact order of how they go. Though, no matter how many times I look at a rainbow of colors, color wheel, etc. etc. etc. I can't figure it out!! lol I mean does it matter what color you start with?...Blue, purple, pink...yellow, green, blue...etc. Do I even have those colors in order?! lol Do you go light from dark or dark to light?...Does that even matter?! lol You see, I'm lost. I'll tell you what I do. I start with the blues, go light to dark, and continue this process around the whole color wheel. Who knows if I'm even right or close?!...But it works for me. ;)

Anyhoo, back to my card. After doing each of my letters in a different color, I added a simple sentiment underneath it, and that's it. Easy, yeah?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day...It's almost Friday! Yay! :)
See y'all soon!

Little Tangles Challenge

Hey y'all! Happy Thursday, almost Friday! :)
Hope all is well?!...

Today we have a brand new challenge at Little Tangles and this time it's all about embossing! Fun, right?!...

Here are my cards. Yes, cards. :)

I decided I would keep things nice and clean. I did some simple stamping and coloring. Then embossed my sentiment in gold. To finish things off, I added some clear sequins and twine. Easy peasy, yeah?!...

Sooo, after making this card and looking back at past Neat & Tangled posts, photos, etc. I realized that my card was very similar to Daria's card, here. I know there are differences but I just thought I pretty much did a CASE of her card. Though, I still wanted to share it but give her the credit. ;)

After I did a 'take 2'...Which I used the same exact stamp set, though just changed things up a tad bit.

Be sure to swing on over to Little Tangles and see all the DT projects! While there, I hope you'll join us!! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

A simple CAS card

Hey y'all!
Happy Wednesday?!...It is Wednesday, right?! lol ;)

So I'm stopping in today to share another 'just for fun' card. Which it's all about coffee (again)...seriously, there are so many cute and fun coffee stamps out there! I use to have just one, yes one, coffee stamp set and now I'm pleased to say I have quite a bit! ;)

Of course, when I saw the new Neat & Tangled's Big Bold Brew set, I had to have it! I mean, is it not cute or what?!...
I kept my card very simple. Just did some coloring and die cutting. That's it! Easy peasy, right?! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day and see y'all soon!
