Hey everyone! Hope your all having a great day! :) Well, for some reason I have 'Valentines' on my mind...guess I'm ready for hearts and chocolates?!! ;)

For this card, I used some older heart stamps that I have. I can't even remember where I bought them at, let alone the brand! Oh, that drives me crazy! However, there still usable! :)

I kept it simple, used a pink polka dot paper. Which I inked the edges of the paper with Rosebud ink by ColorBox. I stamped my little heart on first using black ink and used a 'mask' over it.( For the mask, I stamped my heart on a piece of scrap paper and then cut it out). After laying my mask on top of my little heart, I stamped on my big heart. Again, I used black ink but while it was still wet, I added a coating of black glitter ( I used sugar coating glitter in black beetle by Doodlebug Design Inc.). I wanted to add a little touch of something without making it too over the top. I then stamped on my love and added a couple clear rhinestones.

Hello friend, Cheer up!

Hey everyone! I hope your all having a great week so far! :) So, fihnally after all this time of having no cards to post...here is TWO little cards I made!! YAY!

I was out and about last week and picked up a couple 1$ stamps. I knew I would put them to use sooner or later. Lucky for me, it was SOONER rather than later!

Both cards are made with the same little clear stamp set. I used black ink and colored them with gel pens. I haven't used gels pens in quite awhile and figured "why not?". Also, the white on the balloon was used with a white gel pen (not sure if you can tell from the photos or not?). I kept it simple and thought they would be cute to hide in a lunchbox/slip into a mailbox, etc.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and got everything they could ever want?! ;) My Christmas was good, I spent it with my husband and kids. Merry Christmas!

Hey everyone! Oh, has it been a long time (sure feels that way). Well, I'm still here, just losing my mind a little with everything going on! lol With school almost out, kids getting over being sick, trying to get christmas cards out, and somehow holding down the fort...it's no wonder I feel the way I do!!! I have a feeling though, once these holidays pass, things will get back to normal! :)

Well, I managed to get a picture of one of my cards to share! My lighting hasn't been the best lately. With it being overcast and raining off and on, it doesn't make it the easiest to take pictures. Not to mention my house lighting is all over as well....sometimes I just can't win! And out of all the places to take a picture, I ended up taking this one.....on top of my stove! lol I figured it's good enough for now, only place I could find with good enough lighting. ;)

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #30

Hey everyone, Happy Friday!! So, this weeks CAS-ual Fridays Challenge is #30 Tic Tac Toe! You had to choose a row of three design elements to use. The elements I chose to use were: Pink, Kraft, and Stripes.

I just kept my card simple and was trying to stay focused on what elements I needed to use. I used some paper that I had for quite sometime now and cut them to different lengths. I inked the edges of each strip (lightly). For my 'stripe' strip I used foam squares on the back to pop it up from the others. I added a few rhinestones and stamped on my 'Hello'.

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #29!

Hey everyone! I'm back today with a card I made for the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge! Now that I'm ready to share it with everyone, I'm somewhat  having second thoughts about it. :/ Not really sure why...

Well, here it is!! I'm not quite sure if you can tell or not? but I used a red gel pen to color the center of the berries on the tree. It just needed a little something else to me. :) The flower I used at the bottom is what I'm not so sure about....maybe I should have used all rhinestones?....but then would it had showed it off as much?....oh, my mind is everywhere with this and that!

I'm still here!

Hey everyone!! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! I am exhausted!! My Thanksgiving was great but very busy...I felt it just kept going on and on. Not too mention, my wishful thinking. Assuming my kids would settle down after having turkey! lol That was the biggest 'dream' I had thought of in my head!! Mom and dad were ready for a nap after eating and my kids were all about playing! Though I must say, as much fun it was I'm glad it's over! ;)

Now, I don't not have a card to share today because of trying to get back into routine of thing's. However, I'm hoping tomorrow I will be getting some cards done! That is my plan. :)

While I was out for a minute yesterday I picked up some more white cardstock and a 1$ stamp (studio g clear stamp set). I thought it was cute and knew I could use it! So, keeping thing's simple again, I made this quick little card last night!

Paint!

Hey everyone! Hope your all having a great week so far!! For my card I'm sharing today, I used a stamp set that I actually never used before today! I bought the set sometime ago, put it away and somehow forgot about it!....That was until I went through my stamps! :)

A fun little paint card, perfect for an Artist/Art Teacher! The stamp set I used was TPC Studio-Painting and Drawing. For my drops of 'paint', I used Tim Holtz-Ranger alcohol ink in Wild Plum and Stream. I put some drops where I wanted them and then while still wet took a 'stipple' brush and pounced on top of the drop, moving the brush around as I went. I also used some Tim Holtz-Ranger Distressing Ink in Weathered Wood around the edges of the card.

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #28

Hi everyone! So this weeks CAS-ual Fridays Challenge is to create a tag! I don't always make much of tags but thought I would make one for the challenge. :)

Keeping it simple, I just used a couple fall stamps I had purchased a little while back. Added a couple red pearls and a piece a ribbon that I had in my scraps jar.

Hey everyone! Hope your all having a great Friday! I just have a quick little card to share with you all! Keeping in the spirit of things, I ended up making this cute christmas card!

I went for something a little different as far as the tree stamp goes. I used a tree that wasn't really a 'christmas' tree but thought I could make it look like one. A pink christmas tree, has anyone heard of such a thing?! :) Well, I sure seem to think it works perfect! I added some green pearls as the christmas ornaments and one little clear rhinestone at the top of the tree for the star.

DeNami Design Challenge #10

Hey everyone! I have to give myself some credit, I'm actually getting some cards made!! :) So, this is my card for the DeNami Design Challenge!

I used a couple DeNami stamps and colored them in with pencils. And for a little 'pop' I added a couple light pink rhinestones to the top of the flower.

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #27

Hey everyone! I happened to see this weeks CAS-ual Fridays challenge and wasn't sure if I would be able to whip something up or not. Just in time, I was able to! Yay! :)

Keeping it clean and simple, I used a nice big flower (prima) with a nice big brad. I stamped on my greeting and rounded all the corners but one. For an extra little touch, I added a little yellow pearl in the corner that I didn't punch.

CAS-ual Fridays (CFC#26)

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend (and still are)! So I saw the challenge at CAS-ual Fridays and just knew I could whip something up! :)

I think I ended up with a cute little card! You tell me?! The little hearts are NOT a boarder stamp, it's actually one stamp with the two hearts and I just connected them the way I wanted it to look. I used a pink gel pen to color in the open hearts. And if you zoom in, the frosting on the cupcake says 'chocolate' right in the middle. Thought it would be a nice little extra touch. :)

Boo!

Hi everyone! Hope your all having a great week so far!! Okay, so this card I'm sharing with you, took me about 5 min. to make! Talk about quick on time!

My three little ghost's are actually from a ice cream cone punch (McGill-ice cream cone)! How did I ever picture ghosts?...I was just looking at my punch, turning it and all. Suddenly, the lightbulb went off in my head and said 'ghosts'! I happen to think there quite cute! :) I stamped on a 'Boo' at the bottom, which was from an older set of clear stamps I had.

Winter Wonderland

Hi everyone! Woohoo! I somehow managed two days in a row to make a card!! I'm so proud of myself! lol :)

So, I'm almost thinking to add this card to my 'brrr' card and making a little set! Maybe even making another or two to go with it!

I did use some dots of clear glitter glue for the snow falling, hopefully you can see it in the photo?! Trust me, it's there :) all around the 'sky' and on the trees.

Hey everyone! I know, I know, it's been a whole week since my last post!! Oh I have got to figure out a better schedule! ;)

So is anyone else experiencing cooler weather?! We are starting to get cold here in Florida! Time to pull out the jackets and sweaters, are low temps are in the mid 50's!! Some of you may laugh about that but believe me when you are used to the heat, anything below 70 is cold. Which leads me to my card I made...

Being it's cold (for me) and we don't get any snow here, I decided to make a snowflake card! When making my card, I was picturing it snowing outside. As if I were looking out the window and watching the snowflakes fall.

Hi everyone! Well I hate to say it, but again I lost track of time! I know there's 24hrs in a day but I seem to think that's not enough or that's what my body is telling me. Between juggling around my kids, volunteering at my kids school, staying on top of everything at home, etc...I'm still surprised I find time for my crafting! Oh but I am determined to make room for everything!! :)

So, here's my card for the day (maybe I'll get to make another today but let's not hold our breath)! My kids recently had their school pictures taken. Rather than mailing them out in a plain card, I decided to make quick and simple card to put them in!

Pumpkin patch

Of coarse I used buttons for the pumpkins! And those green vines, I used a green sparkle gel pen and swirled them on how I wanted them! Just a fun little card to make! :)

Feeling like Fall...

Greetings everyone!! It has been waaaaay too long since my last post! I was wrapped up in all kinds of things. Not to mention my creativity was gone!! I still don't know where it even went! lol :) Once again though, it came back!

So, it's really starting to feel like Fall for me. Living in Florida, you sort take whatever you can get when it comes to Fall. Now that our weathers starting to get cooler in the mornings and at night, it has me more in the 'mood' of things. With all that, these are two little Fall cards I made.

I used colors that said 'hey, it's Fall', a tree with leaves, and some pumpkins! I think they came out just lovely :) And once again, I kept them fairly simple.

Well...

Hey everyone! This is somewhat an interesting second post for today. I was browsing through all the blogs I follow and came across PaperPlay Challenges. I saw the challenge for 'Autumn Leaves' and said to myself "oh, I should enter in this challenge". I totally made a simple little card that came to me!

This 'post' was going to be for the challenge. Well that all changed real quick! I went back and looked again at the challenge, realized it was already closed! I really need to start paying attention to the dates!!

So even though I can't enter my card in the challenge, I will share it with all of you!

I kept it simple and 'warm' feeling. The wreath stamp is actually a little cluster of leaves and I just connected them in a circle.

Late last night while in bed, I had this idea for the card come to me. I actually got up and sketched it on paper to see if it would come together. I was somewhat surprise that not only did it work on paper but ended up working perfect for the card! Usually, I always have to re-work my ideas until I get the outcome I was looking for.

Hey everyone! Hope you all have a great weekend! I wanted to share these two cards with you all :) For some reason I was coming up with 'love' theme cards! I know Valentines day is nowhere near but hey, we need love all the time! :)

I also seemed to flock towards using lined paper too! I don't even know why, I think it just ended up that way! Somewhat funny when you make cards (and other things) and look at them afterwards and notice things like that...

Also, on my black and white stripes card, the three little 'dots' are actually red rhinestones.

Hey everyone! Well after starting this week pretty crazy, I can now say things are getting back to normal! So, getting back on track of everything...I actually have been making some really great cards! My only problem is, I can't share them all with you due to the fact I'm sending them off for the World Card Making Day Contest!! I'm crossing my fingers for this one! :))

So here is one card I made up that I won't be sending off. I was out and about shopping when I came across these cute little frog stamps! They are Penny Black~Toadily...don't you just love frogs!

Hey everyone! It sure seems like forever since I did my last post, though it's really only been a few days. Things have been somewhat overwhelming for me right now! I had two of my kids sick, another two off the walls, I had a sore throat...I'm not sure how I'm managing to get through this week!

So, I have another birthday that's this week and this is a quick card I made for them. This card really on took me 5-10 min. to make. Being I'm a little pressed on time right now, this is the best I could do.

Happy 35!

Hey everyone! Hopefully your all having a great week so far! This week has seem to be nothing but birthday's for me. I should say month, I still have more!

So today is my husbands birthday and this is the card I made for him! I kept it simple, I wanted to focus on that nice number of his ;)

For the numbers and crown I used 'grunge board'. I used a couple different colors of ink and then sanded it some. I attached the numbers together with a 'screw' brad. For the crown I just decided to glitter it in black.

Happy Birthday

Hey everyone! I hope your all having a great start of the week! This is just a last minute birthday card I put together (her birthday is tomorrow)!

I used some kraft cardstock, used a piece of white cardstock. I had an Ice Cream punch that I used. Added some ink around my edges to match the paper. And of course, added a little cherry on top (in this case, a red pearl).

Supplies: kraft and white cardstock (recollections), pattern papars (dcwv-the glitter sweet matstack), red pearl (recollections), inks for ice cream and cone (rosebud, brown, moss green-colorbox), black ink (graphite black-brilliance), happy birthday stamp (I heart papers/mint motif-cake shoppe too!), round corner punch.

Greetings everyone! Well it's been quite the week for me! The past couple of days I've seem to come up empty handed when it came to crafting...until today that is! :) Yay!

So this is just a cute little card I came up with. I happened to find these little scalloped shaped cards and decided to see what i could do with them. It was a little tricky for me at first because I normally don't work much with shaped cards. However, I think I ended up doing a pretty good job!

DeNami Animal Challenge!!

Hey everyone! This is my second card for the day! Woohoo! :) I found out about the DeNami Animal Challenge and decided to give it a try!

Here is my card I came up with. Again, keeping it simple but adding details. I wanted my card to look like a 'picture'. I just saw the movie RIO and this is somewhat how I came up with doing this card. If you seen the movie, you know that it's very colorful and of coarse tropical! :) So with my card I used colors that I thought would stand out. All my coloring was done with colored pencils. The flower stamp and 'smile' stamp were both DeNami Design stamps.

Hey everyone! I hope your all enjoying the holiday! While I'm making cards, I'm also watching Lifetime Movies...they always seem to reel me in! Now that I think about it, I really don't know how I'm even managing to make cards and watch movies at the same time! Ha! :)

Okay, so this is my first card I made for the start of the day! I kept it simple, I wanted my glittered flower to be the focus. Glitter can be fun but why...why must it be everywhere? lol No matter how careful I try to be with it, I will always find it on my face, hair, clothes, etc...here, there, everywhere...even days later! :) Though it is worth it, isn't it?!

Cas-ual Fridays Challenge!

A last minute entry for the Cas-ual Firdays Sticker Challenge! I suddenly had this card come to me for the challenge. I remembered stickers that I bought on sale and never used them. Well, now I have! Woohoo!

I also for some reason had Halloween on my mind! I choose not to put a greeting of any type because I just thought the card said it all. The 'leaves' are black stickers and the skull is a sticker too. The only thing I stamped on was a few bats. I also added some purple jewels that came with the skull sticker.
