A Rainbow of Thanks

Hey y'all!! Happy Easter!! :) Well, I've been waiting to share some news with you.....I am officially, now on the CAS on Sunday DT!!  I can't begin to tell you how excited I am!! Thank you, Janneke (and Barb, too)!! :)  And for some who aren't familiar with CAS on Sunday, you should really check it out!! The challenge's are always fun and of course, clean and simple! ;)

So, here is my first card!!

A 'thank you' card, being the challenge. I went for the ultimate CAS. I used a rainbow stamp, that I have. Which, I masked off some of it, so I would only have three rainbows. I used some prismacolor colored pencils, to color them in. And added my 'thanks' right underneath my rainbows. And can I just say, this card IS simple, yet it took me several times to get it right!! lol I am such a perfectionist, that one little mishap, bothered me enough to keep doing it over, and over and over and over...I think I'm done with rainbows, for a bit! lol :)

PSA Essentials Blog Hop!!!

So, here is my card for today!

Is it Spring, where you're at?! Hopefully, if you're still dealing with those cold temps, this card will bring some warmth to you! And some sunshine! ;)

For my card today I used PSA Essentials Rosettas, Country Home, and Dare to Dream peel and stick stamp sets. You can check them out here. I used my flowers for a background and for my little bee, I decided to 'flock' him. I am so glad, I chose to do that! :) I think it adds a nice touch to it and makes it look pretty realistic?!! For my yellow stripes, I just used a colored pencil.

Hey y'all!! Happy Thursday...it's that much closer, to the weekend!! ;) Today, I'm stopping on in, to share a card I made for the current Simon Says Stamp challenge!

Anything goes!...That works for me! :) Now, my card may be a little past due (as far as Valentine's goes) but who says, it has to be for Valentine's?! ;)

Ooooh, I was playing with some washi tape again! I'm really beginning to like the stuff and I'm feeling the need for more (this could be trouble)!! lol :)

Could it be...?

Hey y'all!! Hope you're enjoying the week, so far?!! :) My kids are on spring break and it's been quite nice not having to rush, in the mornings. :)

Boy, am I sure showing off some 'white' here!! And I love it!! I actually, bought some washi tape (yeah, I'm a little behind) and it sure seems to add a nice touch to cards! :) I also, bought some wood veneers (woohoo)! lol It amazes me, how excited I get about the little things. Maybe soon, I'll move up to buying sequins?!! ;)

Hey ya'll! Happy Friday!! :) I can't begin to tell you, how nice it is that it's Friday! I'm not doing anything special, though my kids start spring break on Monday and that there, is enough to make me happy! :)

So, today I'm sharing a card for the current The Twinery challenge.

I had some fun with this card! I don't really do much of banners, so this took some thinking! ;)

I choose do a black card base, to make my banner stand out more. I think it worked?...I'm happy with my card. :)

Age is just a number

Hey y'all! Can you believe, we're already half way through the week?!! Oh, how fast time keeps flying on by! :)

Okay, today's card is for the current Casual Fridays challenge! I was somewhat getting down to the wire, on this one too! Though, I made it in time! :)

Hmmm....What was one, to make with chipboard?! I happened to stumble upon some 'bingo' pattern paper, that I had. And I also, had a piece of chipboard that was perfect to make into a 'bingo card'. Here's my outcome!

Simple and to the point. :) I actually think, I'll give this card to my mom for her birthday. She and my grandma (and several other family members), love playing bingo. So much so, that I can remember them always taking me to the bingo halls with them. I was YOUNG and they were sooooo BORING for me. lol Listening to them call out the numbers ever so slow. Though, you had the one extra game, that was a speed round (Oh, that's was the exciting one! lol). Only taking limited breaks to get up and go to the bathroom or grab a soda/chips. I just had to sit and entertain myself in some kind of way. Which usually, was playing with the daubers. My mom was never too happy about that because it was "wasting" the ink. lol Anyways, I'm rambling way too much now....sorry about that! Though, maybe I'm not the only one?! ;)

Hey y'all! Second post of the day..woohoo! ;) Okay, so I was cutting my time close to get something whipped up for the current Case This Sketch challenge! But I managed to make it! :)

I chose to do 'soft' colors for this card. I do like my outcome, though I'm not sure if I'm lovin' it?.....At this point, I think I may be crossing the line of 'being too hard on myself'?.... :/ I hope y'all enjoy it, though!! :)

I'm sorry

Hey y'all! Hope y'all had a great weekend and St. Patrick's day!! For me it was just another weekend. Though, I did happened to receive a "happy" email on St. Patrick's day! I will share my news with y'all soon!! ;)

So, today I'm sharing a card for the current The Play Date Cafe challenge! It took me a minute, but I managed to whip a little something up! :)

Besides lovin' the color Red, I do love Coral too! Who am I kidding...I really love Reds/Pinks and anything that falls into that category . :)

What made me to think of "I'm sorry"?....I really do not know. I was gonna do "thank you" or "thinking of you" and then I saw "I'm sorry". I was thinking it worked do to the the 'stem w/ leaves' being black and a nice 'pop' of Coral. Then with the little rhinestone....just thought it tied in, somehow?....

Hey! lil' dude

Hey y'all! Lately, I've been in some kind of slump....I'm guessing it's the 'whole, spring forward'?! I was okay on Sunday and then when Monday came, it hit me..HARD! Today isn't as bad, but still slow moving. I'll give myself to the end of the week, to get back into routine. Hopefully, it's sooner! ;)

So, today's card is for the current Casology challenge!

I had to get REAL creative, with this card!! I have only one stamp, that would have worked for this 'cue word'. Though, I didn't feel like using it...at all! lol So, it left me with thinking outside of the box....again. :)

Okay! So, I came up with this cool little spaceship. I used the 'insides' of a light bulb stamp, for my ship. Who would of ever thought?!! :) Then added some clusters of  'rocks'. And lastly, added my sentiment.

Congrats....

Hey y'all! I'm just stopping in today, to share a card I made for the current Runway Inspired Challenge!

I've been wanting to play with them for quite sometime, though never have, until now! :) I was very much intrigued by this photo! And this is what I came up with!

Hopefully, my card 'fits'. I wanted to use the colors that stood out the most. I chose yellow, for my base card. Then, I made some black and white striped butterflies. And added the hint of pink, by using some rhinestones. I used a marker for my two black lines. Which, I actually used a white pen first, then added my black. I thought it would make it 'pop' a little more, rather than just being 'flat' black.?. I have to say, I'm somewhat 'torn' between this card....One of those, love/hate things. I'm not sure if I love it, but I don't hate it...? Most importantly, I had fun making it! So, it stay's as is. :)

New Arrival

Hey y'all!! I know I've said it before, but where, oh where, does the time go?!...Half way through the week, already?!! Whew. :)

Okay, so today I'm sharing a card I made for the current Casology challenge. Oh, and it's a cute one!

I had to think about this one, for a minute. "Bunny"...Not having any bunny stamps, what was one to do? Well, I tell ya what I did! I dug through all my little goodies and came across a bunny shaped piece of chipboard. Now, I was gonna use my piece of chipboard but then again, I didn't really want to. So, I used it as a template. It was the next best thing, I could think to do! ;)

Oh, yes! I used those 'dotted circles' again! :) I'm growing quite found of those...they seem to be adding a nice touch to things! And instead of using a 'pom-pom' or rhinestone, for the bunny tail, I opted for a little white heart.

I wasn't planning to make a 'baby' card. However, this works perfect to give to my sister in-law! She and my brother are expecting at anytime now and thought this would be a nice, to send their way! :)

Happy Birthday

Hey y'all! Hope you're all enjoying this lovely Sunday?!! :) I'm really trying to relax today, and enjoy the little things in life. Though, I'm not so sure about the relaxing part....lol My kids seem to have, a little too much energy!! ;) At the least, I'll still enjoy it!

Okay, on to my card! I'm using this card, for two (yes, two) current challenges. This will be my entry in the CAS on Sunday challenge, which is "Happy Birthday". And I will enter this in the Simon Says Stamp challenge, which is "Anything goes". :)

I went a little different on this card. Lately, my cards are pretty much one layer. Which, I love. Though I wanted to play around a little bit more. :) I actually really like this card!.....Seems bright and cheerful and perfect for a birthday, yeah?!...

Hello

Hey y'all! I'm baaaaack....that was quick, wasn't it?!! lol Okay, so now I'm sharing a card I made for the current A Blog Named Hero challenge!

It's been waaaay too long, since I've played in a challenge with them!! I must play more often!! :) I had some real fun with this challenge. Make your own embellishment, using a stamp(s). This is, so me!

So, what I did was....I took a over sized big brad and stamped on my design, in gold ink. I used Hero Arts Starburst Lace stamp, for this. (I used the middle of the stamp) Then I wanted a little something else, to go with it. So, I decided to use a die and some pattern paper. Then, also thought a few gold studs would be nice. And after a little bit of playing around, I figured it out! Last but not least, was adding my 'Hello' from Hero Arts Everyday Sayings, in gold ink. :)

Always & Forever

Hey y'all! Happy Saturday!! :) I'm stopping in today, to share a card I made for the current Casology challenge!

I wasn't sure, if I would even get something whipped up in time!....For some reason I struggle with circles??....It may not seem like it, but I do! lol :) So, here's what I came up with!

Yep. I had this little dotted circle stamp, that I had yet to use. So, I knew I wanted to use that. Then I sat and thought because I really had no idea, how I was gonna use this stamp. Eventually, some kind of 'light bulb' went off in my head! lol  And there you have it! :)

So, I'm sharing a card I made using the new Color Wheel stamp, which you can find Here. (Note: The Color Wheel stamp is sold out. Hopefully, it won't be too long before it's back in stock!) :)

You know me, I kept it CAS! :) I used some watercolor pencils, for this card! I haven't used those in a looooong time, I forgot how lovely they are! I used two different 'shades' of colors in each square (rectangle) and then mixed them together with the water. After it was dry, I added my sentiment. Simple, right?! :)
