Best Yetis

Happy FriYAY! :) 

Today, I'm sharing a sweet card I designed for Crafty Stamp Co.! 

Is it just me?...but when cooler days arrive don't you just want to warm yourself with some hot coffee?...and/or hot cocoa?!...And maybe even with a friend?! ;) Well, these 'best yetis' on my card are warming themselves up with each other's company and hot drinks! (lol) 

Cute, right?!...I kept this card nice and simple. Just some stamping using the Yeti for Winter stamp set and then a little bit of fussy cutting. And simple coloring too! ;) Then a little bit of patterned paper from the Nutcracker & Cocoa paper pad that I used a stitched die with and then just layered things together. Before adhering things to my card base, I laid things out to see where I wanted things at, then stamped on the sentiment to the card base. After, I adhered things and popped up the yetis with foam tape, then added a burlap twine bow. Easy peasy, right?!...

Today, I have a fun announcement to share...I am now a part of the regular Crafty Stamp Co. design team!! Yay!! Thank you so much, Cristena, Meadow, and all the ladies for having me!! 

For my first official post, I'm sharing a fun and simple love card. Honestly, I didn't know where this card was gonna take me. (lol) All I knew is I wanted to use the Kitten & Kisses stamp set that I had for quite a while and had yet to put it to actual use. ;) 

After some pondering on things, I was thinking of the old film strips. The kind where you would go in the photo booth with friends/boyfriend/girlfriend/etc. and take a bunch of photos and then they were printed out on a strip for you. Do you remember those photo booths?...

Having the stamp set I wanted to use and the Film Strip stencil, that's what I ended up going with. Some photo strips of love! 

Without further ado, here is my card...

I kept things relatively simple. Just some easy stenciling using a blending brush and a pink ink. Then stamped on each image in a 'frame' and did some super simple coloring using black and grey colored pencils. After, I used a stitch die to make a settled border around things and some black paint splatters. Then used a heart die, blended a little pink ink around the edges and stamped on the sentiment and adhered it to the card with foam tape. And to finish things off a little burlap twine bow. Simple, right?!...

Today, I'm sharing a card I made with the new November Crafty Crew Kit from Crafty Stamp Co.!! And as you might have read in the title of this post, unfortunately this will be the LAST kit released BUT...don't be too sad because there will still be new products to come and they will all be sold separately, so you can pick and choose what you would like! A little bitter sweet but change is a good thing and Crafty Stamp Co. isn't going anywhere. :) 

If you don't know by now, I sure do love clean and simple cards. ;) And I also love to make a little 'collage' out of things and that's just what I did for this card. Simple, yet Striking!...I hope!?!...

Let's make this card together! 

Supplies: 

November Crafty Crew Kit

White cardstock (regular and marker friendly)

Copic markers (or alcohol markers of your choice) ( E27, E29, E49, E57, E59, B0000, B000, B00, B26, B29, B39, BG11, BG23, BG34, Y13, Y35, R29, R89, C1, C2, C3)

Scissors

Metallic gel pen

Low profile foam tape

Adhesive/Glue

1. Start with white cardstock that is marker friendly.
2. Stamp images in black ink.
3. Color images with Copic markers (or any alcohol markers of your choice). In this case, markers: E27, E29, E49, E57, E59, B0000, B000, B00, B26, B29, B39, BG11, BG23, BG34, Y13, Y35, R29, R89, C1, C2, C3.
4. Fussy Cut colored images.

1. Using an A2 white card base, arrange images on the card base. *Note: Don't adhere things quite yet, you just want an idea of where and how you want things. ;) 

1. Once you have things where you want them on the card case. Start to adhere things. 
2. Adhere things using adhesive/glue, except for the buoy image.
3. Adhere the buoy image with low profile foam tape.
4. Set aside.
5. Stamp sentiment onto white cardstock.
6. Cut image into a little banner.

1. Adhere the sentiment banner to the card using a low profile foam tape and tucking the right edge underneath the lighthouse image.
2. Add faux splatters using a metallic gel pen.

That's it! Fun and sweet, right?!...I hope I was able to inspire you today?!...I would love to see your take on this card!...Would you add more, less, the same?...I'd love to know and see!

Crafty Stamp Co. Nov. Crafty Crew Kit-LAST KIT!! Card 2

Today, I'm sharing a card I made with the new November Crafty Crew Kit from Crafty Stamp Co.!! And as you might have read in the title of this post, unfortunately this will be the LAST kit released BUT...don't be too sad because there will still be new products to come and they will all be sold separately, so you can pick and choose what you would like! A little bitter sweet but change is a good thing and Crafty Stamp Co. isn't going anywhere. :) 

The little seal/sea lion is just too cute and what better to have a trio of them?!...What made me think of a trio is many, many, years back I can remember visiting Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco and seeing all the sea lions on the floating docks, something I never seen before. It was so crazy to see so many piled on together but they were cute!  With that being said, here is my card...

Let's make this card together! 

Supplies:

November Crafty Crew Kit

White cardstock (regular and marker friendly)

Copic markers (or alcohol markers of your choice) (B32, B41, RV11, W5, W7, E25, E27, E59, E89, BV23, BV25, BV29)

Black ink

Black pen

Metallic gel pen

Scissors

Low profile foam tape

Adhesive

1. Start with white cardstock/paper that is marker friendly.
2. Stamp images in black ink.
3. Colors images using Copic markers (or any alcohol markers of your choice). In this case, markers: B32, B41, RV11, W5, W7, E25, E27, E59, E89, BV23, BV25, BV29.
4. Using a black pen, add some 'spots' to the sea lions.
5. Fussy cut images.
6. Set aside.

1. Stamp sentiment onto white cardstock.
2. Fussy cut sentiment.
3. Set aside.
4. Using an A2 white card base, adhere fussy cut images. *Note: Use low profile foam tape on the front 2 sea lions, wood dock, and anchor.
5. Adhere sentiment using low profile foam tape.
6. Add faux splatters using a metallic gel pen.

Oh boy, this kit is filled with fun! If you're all about loving the sea because who doesn't love the sea?!...(lol) Sea animals, an anchor, a sailor, and so much more...you'll want to be sure to get this kit! Without further ado, here is my card...

I couldn't resist 'Little Sailor Meadow' and coloring her up! And after coloring her up I thought she needed a little something to go with, so a little boat it was! 

Let's make this card together! 

Supplies:

White cardstock (regular and marker friendly)

Copic markers (or alcohol markers of your choice) (B000, B26, B29, B39, R20, R29, R89, E000, E00, E11, E13, E25, E27, E35, E37, E59, Y21, Y23)

Scissors

Black gel pen

Black ink

Low profile foam tape

Adhesive

1. Start with white cardstock/paper that is marker friendly.
2. Stamp images using black ink.
3. Color the images using Copic markers (or alcohol markers of your choice). In this case I used colors: B000, B26, B29, B39, R20, R29, R89, E000, E00, E11, E13, E25, E27, E35, E37, E59, Y21, Y23.
4. Fussy cut colored images.
5. Set aside.

1. Stamp sentiment onto white cardstock.
2. Cut sentiment into a strip/banner.
3. Set aside.

1. Using an A2 white card base, adhere fussy cut images and sentiment to the card base. Use a low profile foam tape on everything but the 'wood floor'.
2. Add faux splatters by using a black gel pen.

That's it! Simple, right?!...I hope I was able to inspire you today?!...Maybe even create this card with your own twist?!... :)

New Quarterly Release from Not 2 Shabby-Day 5

Today, I have another fun card to share using some of the goodies from the new Denim & Coffee collection! If you missed the last bit of my posts, you'll want to be sure to check things out...this release is just sooo fun!! 

Here's my card...

This card was so fun to create and really so simple as well! Just pick out a good amount of ephemera, a piece of patterned paper, ink up the edges of the patterned paper, then put things together. Layer on the ephemera, add some paint splatters. Then top things off with a sentiment and a touch of burlap twine. Simple, right?!...

Today, I'm sharing another card using the new release goodies from Not 2 Shabby! I'm having so much fun with this release...I just can't get over how amazing it is! Simple. Sometimes that's all we need, right?!...

I just used a couple dies and ephemera, along with a stamp to bring this card together! Isn't that little mouse CUTE?!...And with coffee beans?!...I paired him with some marshmallows because why not (lol). Then topped things off with a sentiment and sparkling enamel dots. Easy peasy, right?!...

New Quarterly Release from Not 2 Shabby-Day 3

Hello, hello!

Happy Monday!

Today, I'm sharing another card from Not 2 Shabby's new quarterly release goodies! If you missed my last two posts, you can check them out HERE and HERE. Coffee shops, photography, along with a touch of florals...yes, please! Without further ado, here's my card...

Simple but sweet, right?!...

Ready to make this card?!...Follow along below! 

• Start with choosing some ephemera.
• Then set aside.

• Using a piece of patterned paper and the EZ Wonder Die #3, die cut the postage panel.

• Trim the postage panel down, so you have a square postage.
• Set aside.
• Take the EZ Wonder Die #3 Add-on along with white cardstock and die cut the stitched square.
• Adhere the white die cut square onto the patterned paper postage square.

• Adhere the ephemera piece on top.

• Adhere the postage square onto an A2 white card base using low profile foam tape.
• Adhere on the other ephemera pieces using glue/adhesive and low profile foam tape on the camera. 

• Using a gold metallic paint pen (or paint) add splatters.
• Set aside and let dry. 

• Use Teresa's One & Done sentiments along with the Ultimate Sentiments die, stamp and die cut the sentiment.
• Using low profile foam tape, adhere sentiment to the card. 
• Add burlap twine to the sentiment, tie in a bow.
• Add sparkling enamel dots.
