Adventure

Hey y'all! Happy Tuesday! :) I'm just stopping in to share a fun little card, with you! I made this card for the current Casology challenge.

Funny thing about this challenge, is for the last challenge I used 'gold' on my card! So here I am again, with some gold! ;)

And right now I'm lovin' my right bottom corner of the card, too!...Always seems to work good there! ;) I decided to go with an 'adventure/travel' theme. I used some stamps for my 'world' and 'plane'. Then made a nice little 'golden ticket' using some gold glitter tape (and yes I used it on my last card, so here it is again. though in a different way). I actually, had a 'ticket' die cut piece. I ended up covering it with the tape, then flipping it over (to the back side) and cut it to match my original ticket piece. For a finishing touch, I added some foam squares on the back of my ticket, a sticker word over it and a few rhinestones.

Hey, y'all! I'm quickly stopping in one more time today, to share a card I made for the current TAWS Be Inspired challenge.. This is my first time playing along with them. So, here goes! ;)

What inspired my about this photo was the presents and colors. With that being said, I used my 'books' as presents. And then used markers and colored pencils for my colors. For a little extra 'pop' I added some clear rhinestones. :)

CAS on Sunday-Kraft and Twine

Hey y'all! Happy Sunday! And it's that time again....a new CAS on Sunday challenge! :) This time you need to use 'kraft & twine'. And who doesn't love, kraft and twine?! ;)

So, here's my card!

I wanted my card to be 'soft', so I used a very faint pink ink for my background flower. Then added a butterfly wood veneer piece, some light pink twine and a few gems. And to top it off, a sweet little sentiment. :)

Stamping Royalty 2013 Blog Hop!

Hey y'all! Okay, so here's my card!

I used a few different stamp sets, from some of the goodies that we won. I used a background stamp, that I only inked a few spots of it. Then stamped it on a scrap piece of paper, then applied it to my card. (I wanted it to faintly be there, that's why I did that). After, I added my flowers, in a nice Red ink. Then added my stems and sentiment. To give it just a little bit of 'pop', I added a few rhinestones, too. :)

Hey y'all! I'm happy to stop in today! I know it's been a minute. Just to fill you all in, I've been quite sick. Even as I'm writing this, it's wearing me out! I normally don't get sick much, at least not like this. Today, I still have a sore throat/cough, no voice, and still feel weak, some. Terrible. Though it started out with a fever and chills and all that other stuff. No fun! At least, I am getting better and not worse. ;)

Okay, so now to my card. Yes, I have a card! Though, it took me hours because of how I feel and I'm just not feeling my whole 'creative' side of me. I sure hope that comes back! ;)

While I was browsing some blogs, I came across the current Case this Sketch challenge. Quite the fun little sketch they have! :) Here's what I came up with!

Well, I don't even know if this card is good or not?!....I tweaked the sketch, just a little. Hopefully, you can still 'see' the sketch in my card?...

For the background part, I choose to put it off to the right, rather than the middle. For the banner part, I decided no banner. Instead, adding my sentiment more off to the left and slightly, overlapping my background. And last for the 'bird' part of the sketch, I went with enamel dots. Either, it works or it doesn't?... ;)

Christmas in July....

Celebrate Freedom!

Hey y'all! Happy July 4th!! :) I just wanted to quickly stop in today, SRM Stickers is having a 'Parade of Patriotic' projects today!...With that being said, here is my card! :)

I had soooo much fun, making this card! I normally don't make many 4th of July cards, so maybe that's why I enjoyed making this so much?!.....Something a little different and festive! ;)

I'm really lovin' the Red, White, and Blue on my card! I used all border stickers from SRM Stickers. And just added a nice rhinestone piece and banner, to top it off. :) Be sure to head over to SRM Stickers blog and check out all the wonderful projects!! :)

SRM Stickers-Trio of cards

Hey y'all! Well, today is my first day at SRM Stickers blog!! And I'm still filled with sooo much happiness, about being on such an amazing team! :)

Okay! So here we go! Today I'm sharing a 'trio' of cards. Wait....Did I say 'trio'??!....Yes, I did! THREE.....3.....THREE cards!! :)

So, for these cards I used SRM Stickers Fancy Sticker Sentiments-Thinking of you. I just LOVE these stickers! :)

I thought 'clouds' would fit nicely in, for a 'thinking of you' theme. So, I used quite the little variety of clouds. And I also layered them in slightly different ways and changed up the pattern papers (on the big clouds) to have not only a 'trio' of cards, but also so they 'mix and match' with each other.

For a final touch, I added some enamel dots to each card. I kept the colors of the enamel dots similar. I'm not sure if you can tell by the photos or not, but each card has a slightly different shade of blue.
