Sparkle and Shimmer
Hey y'all! Happy Sunday! Once again, it's that time again...time for a new CAS on Sunday challenge! For this challenge, we're all about the 'Sparkle and Shimmer'. You need to use glitter on your card! Fun, right?!...
Here's my card!
So, I decided to keep things fairly simple. I used some Fri-dies (4 petals) and glittered them up, using black glitter. Once done, I then added a piece of washi tape and a piece of flair. To top things off, I decided to add a few sequins too. ;)
Are y'all ready to get a little messy and play with us?!!...This time around the winner has a chance at winning a prize from Cas-ual Fridays Stamps!!! Woohoo! How awesome is that?!!...
Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to swing on over to CAS on Sunday to see all the DT creations and show some love! ;)
Enjoy your day!

I was thinking/Good times
Hey y'all! Happy Friday! Anyone else glad it's Friday?!...I don't really have anything going on, though Fridays always feel different for some reason? ;)
Anyhow, I'm stopping in today to share a not so CAS card. I was browsing through some challenges the other day. I came across the current Seize the Sketch challenge. Now, normally I might not have tried playing with this particular sketch, only because it's out of my comfort zone. Though, I decided to go for it! And I have to say, I'm glad I did! ;)
You see?...This isn't one of my normal CAS cards! I used some pattern paper and ooooh, an embossing folder...say what?! lol That's right, an embossing folder! ;) Then I did a little cutting for my speech bubble. And lathered up my card with a fun little flag, some twine, and sequins! I actually, had quite fun making this card (and not that I don't always have fun making my cards. This one was just a little different.)!
Okay, and hopefully y'all can see the sketch still?...Instead of having the two papers go straight across, I decided to use a angle. Then instead of using a oval, I used the speech bubble/flag. And lastly, instead of having an star on my card, I went for adding some twine. So, what's your thoughts?!...I'd love to know!
Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy your day/weekend!

Wishing you luck, peace, and happiness
Hey y'all! I'm just stopping on in, to share a card with you! :) I saw the current Casology challenge and thought 'hmmm...'
Well, I was able to whip something up!
Garden...I think of a lot of things, when it comes to the word Garden. Talk about a having a wide range of ideas! ;)
I recently ordered some FUN and AWESOME (in my opinion) stamps from Altenew! I knew I needed to ink these babies up! So, when I started to look at my sets, this one stood out. I saw the 'humming bird' and was like 'yep. This is the one to use'! Then I had to think of 'how' I wanted to use it. Then I saw some Cas-ual Fridays Stamps sitting there and 'oooh, yes. The little petal flowers will be perfect'! And why not throw in a use of an Gelato?!...And that's how my card was created. :) I would love to hear what you think about it!?!

Note...
Hey y'all! Happy Good Friday! :) I've been a little under the weather lately. Though, I'm slowly starting to feel better. And yesterday, I stayed relatively quiet because it marked one year since my Dad had passed. I thought I was doing okay, then when I was making dinner everything just sort of came at me. In the mix of emotions and tears, I happened to look out at the backyard. I was looking at the ground and was trying to figure out why there were 'wet spots' everywhere. The more I looked, the more I kept seeing them. Then, I looked up and out to my right and said, "oh, it's sprinkling!" (if you even want a call it that, really just a very light mist). Once, I noticed that I stepped outside. And long behold, a rainbow was in the sky! My kids and I stood out in the light sprinkle for a bit, to admire it. It brought a smile to our faces and it helped me somewhat 'breathe' for a minute. It was very nice. And that pretty much summed up my evening.
Now, today I'm stopping in to share a card. This time I'm playing along with the current Casology challenge! Such a variation, of what can come to mind with this weeks cue card. ;) So here's my card!
Not exactly sure how this came to me?...And I somehow had energy to make this! lol For my 'notebook paper' I used my stamp with two ink colors, then 'spritzed' it with water, before stamping on my paper. I added the 'holes' with a punch and viola, notebook paper! I then used a dark blue ink for my star image and black ink for my sentiment. Added some sequins, DIY enamel dots and a wood veneer arrow. So, what do you think?!...

happy birthday happy birthday happy birthday
Hey y'all! Happy Sunday! And you know what time it is?!...It's time for another CAS on Sunday challenge! For this challenge it's a 'birthday to die for', meaning you must use at least one die on your card. How fun is this?!...
So, here's my card!
Oooooh, I had to do some thinking with this card! It took me several tries, to finally end up with this. I actually made this card late at night, without hardly any light. Though, I was happy about it and I was actually lovin' it! ;)
So, I used my star die on the base card, having it hang over the edge. Then I used my big star die with the little star die on the inside, thus giving me the star with it blank in the middle. Then added it to my base die cut on my card. Then to top everything off, added a little star, some DIY enamel dots (Thanks to my crafty friend Katie, you can read about her DIY enamel dots here) and sequins. And along the bottom, repeatedly stamping happy birthday. So, what do you think?!...
Are you ready to play with us?!...The winner for this challenge will have a wonderful opportunity of being our Guest Designer for the next challenge! How sweet is that?!...
Don't forget to swing on over to CAS on Sunday to show some love and see all the DT creations!!! ;)

Hello, how are you?
Hey, y'all! Hope you're enjoying the weekend so far?! :) I'm stopping in today, to share a card I made for the current Virginia's View Challenge! This time 'round it's all about stencils...
Well, let me just say something. I've had a couple of stencils sitting around and they did need to be used. So, of course I pulled them out. Then I sat there and stared at them, for I don't know how long?...Then questioned, where/how do you begin using stencils?...Let's just say after of about wasting 10 pieces of cardstock, I finally was able to work something with the stencil. And something that I was actually loving! lol Whew! And now, I even went out today and bought another stencil! I can see this going in the same direction as what the 'watercolor' did! With that being said, thank you Virginia for not only for inspiring me, but for making this become an addiction! lol (That is said, with very much love) ;)
So, enough of me rambling on! Here's what I came up with!
Maybe it doesn't look like it took me that many tries, to get to this. Oh, but it did! For my colors you see, I used a good ol' paintbrush and dab it on my ink pad, then back in water, to make a 'wash' so to speak. Then applied that randomly on my stencil (though be careful, too much water was not good, nor too little. It's gotta be the happy middle place between the two.) Then I did the same technique with the pink. Though, the pink was from a gelato. So, I first had to smear that onto a piece of scrap paper. Then proceed with the water as before. So, what do you think?!!...

Hello, beautiful...
Hey y'all! Is it just me, or does anyone else seem to think April is a busy, busy, month?!...It just seems like time keeps flying on by and I swear to you, as you get older it seems worse! lol Or maybe it's because we have so much on our plate?!...
Anyhoo, I'm sharing two cards today! There actually the same card, though one has a pattern background and the other is left white. I saw the current Casology challenge and thought I'd try and come up with something. Well, I did! Then after, I started to question my card...Is this really funny?...Or is it just plain mean sounding?...Should I even enter this in the challenge?...Needless to say, I entered my card in the challenge. So here goes!
So, those are my cards! I happen to have a 'sarcastic' type of humor (at times), so this strikes me as funny. Though, not everyone is the same as myself. So, honestly how does this strike you?...Funny? Mean? Sassy? Bratty? Rude? Anything? I'm just curious to know. ;)
Thank you for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Now, I happen to LOVE my striped background card! Though, I was thinking maybe the background was too much?...So that's what led me to making another card, though using just white as my background. I think it looks good too. However, it doesn't 'hit' me the same as my first?...Which do you prefer?...
