Hey y'all! Boy, lately I seem to be on a roll with the card making! Not sure what it is?...Though, it makes me happy! :) So, for this card, I'm playing along with Casology.

Now, when I saw the cue card being 'Bee', I had to question myself if I even had any bee stamps or embellishments. Needless to say, I really don't. I do have a couple, though one is pretty 'fancy/real' looking and the other is really, really, tiny. So, once again I did some thinking and came up with this!

I used three different stamps sets for my card. For the background I used Lil' Inker Designs, for my little 'bee trails' I used Avocado Arts, and for my 'bees' I used PaperTrey Ink. And I must say, the PaperTrey Ink set I used, I don't even think those are really bees?...I just made them into bees! lol I think they're raindrops, maybe?...Ha! I really don't know. ;)

Hopefully, you can get the idea of my card?...I went for a 'new twist' on a tree. I stamped a couple empty diamonds, to act as where the bees may enter/leave. And just had my two little bees buzzing around. ;)

hello and HI

Hey y'all! Hope all is well?!...It's feeling like summer here, and I'm lovin' it! ;) Okay, so I have two cards to share today! And I'm playing along with Poppy Sketches!

Funny thing about the one card is, I made it for the challenge I'm playing along with. Just thinking about the sketch itself, I spaced out on the colors to use! I was so happy with my outcome, then when I was looking at what I made it for...I had one of those 'doh!' moments. So, after that I made a new card. Using the sketch and colors. ;)

Okay, so here is my 'first' card.

And now, for my challenge card.

You see, they're really almost the same card. I just had to change up the colors and I added a few embellishments to my challenge card. I decided to stick with doing pretty much the same thing, because my first card, just made me that happy! ;) Hope you like them?...Do you prefer one, over the other?...

you are WONDERFUL!

Hey y'all! Happy Sunday! Today, is a new challenge at CAS on Sunday! This time we have a color scheme to work with.

*Note: You don't have to use SU colors. As long as they're close in color you're fine. ;)

So, here's my card!

Let me just say, I struggled with making this card! These normally aren't colors I really work with much, so that alone was a challenge for me. Then, I kept going through my stamps/papers/etc. trying to figure out where to even start! You would have thought I never made a card before! Guess maybe my 'mojo' was gone some?...Well, thankfully it started to come back! I have to say, I think my card came out alright!?...

I did some 'mixing' on the stamps. Lately, I've been doing this. ;) I used Lawn Fawn for the flowers, for the 'you are' I used Altenew, and for the 'wonderful' I used Waffle Flower.

So, are y'all ready to play with us?!!...If so, you have a wonderful chance at being our Guest Designer at CAS on Sunday! How cool is that?!!...

I did a little bit of watercoloring, with my flower. Then used a SRM Stickers doily, peeking out from behind my card. And added a my sticker sentiment. Once done, I added foam squares on the back and added it to my base card.

Well, hey y'all! I'm finally getting some of my crafty 'mojo' back! For some reason, it had seem to been lost!?! ;) Anyhow, I'm stopping in to share a card I made for the current Casology challenge.

When I saw 'flower' as the cue card, I knew there was a good chance I could whip something up! ;)

Here's what I did!

Recently, I received some goodies from Lawn Fawn and couldn't wait to play with them! So, not only did I use one of their stamp sets. But I also mixed in some, Altenew and Waffle Flower stamps. Fun, yeah?!...And just to give y'all a 'heads up'...You'll be seeing more of these flowers...I am LOVIN' them!!! :)

Hey y'all! Today, I'm sharing a card I made for the current Poppy Sketches Challenge! I played along with the last challenge and loved it! And I'm not sure how it happened, but I won too! ;) What are the chances of that happening?!...But really, something about creating with these sketches, gets my juices flowing! :)

Okay, so here's what I came up with!

Now, I did keep contemplating about adding more of the 'green' color(s). But something just kept telling me 'no'. So, I just kept it, as is. ;) And really the only thing I changed from the sketch, was instead of lines down the side, I used flowers. Pretty much kept it a one layered card.

So, what are your thoughts about my card?!...I would love to know! ;)

Hey y'all! Happy Sunday! And to all you Mom's, Happy Mother's day!!! :) Today, always marks a brand new challenge at CAS on Sunday! This time we have a sketch for you!

So, here is my take on it!

Now instead of having the 'Xs' going stright down, I decided to 'stagger' them a little bit. Hopefully, y'all can still see the sketch?!...I layered my butterflies with cardstock, to give them some 'lift'. Added some little clouds and to top it off, some sequins! Was having some fun with my card...What do you think?!...

A little Saturday post...

Hey y'all! I just wanted to swing on in today, and share another 'made for fun' card! I find myself playing with many challenges. But lately, I've been playing with only a few here and there. I'm not sure if I'm just so overwhelmed by how many great challenges there are?...Or if I'm just enjoying letting myself, do what it wants to do?...Sometimes it's nice not to have pressure on you. ;)

Anyhow, I was playing with some Altenew Stamps again. And this is what I came up with!

After many, many, many attempts, I finally ended up with my colors how I wanted them! I tell you, I was getting so frustrated about how my colors were spraying! I had color EVERYWHERE. On my work area (which that was a given), somehow on my notebook, on my magnetic ruler, on the outside of a stamp set, and another given. all over my hands! Talk about a mess! lol Leave it to me, to somehow be that messy with the stuff! ;) At least in the end, I think it was well worth it?!...

Hey y'all! Okay. So today I have something a little different. For me, at least. I've been seeing the Poppy Sketches challenge for a tiny bit. And really, I wanted to play from day one, but just never got around to it. Well, that is until now! ;)

And for me, either this card is a hit or miss?...I'm not sure if I'm totally diggin' it or not?...Part of me actually, loves it! And part of me is saying, what am I thinking! :/ I've been debating whether to even post it! Needless to say, I am. Though, I would like you to tell me your thoughts?!...Honestly, I want to know! Good, bad, okay, whatever it may be...I can handle it. I just wanna see if I made a good decision here?... ;)

So, going off the sketch (and yet, keeping things CAS), I chose to use a paintbrush with green ink and place a streak down the side. Then I grabbed some purple ink and used it with my butterfly stamp. Which after, I used my paintbrush again and just lightly moistened it and went over my butterfly with it. To finish things off, I used some brown ink with the sentiment pieces. And that's my card! So...yea, nah, maybe so?...I just don't know!?! lol ;)

Miss you so much

Hey y'all! Middle of the week, already?!!...Where is all the time going?!! lol Okay, so today I have a card for the current Virginia's View Challenge!

I love playing with Virginia's challenges! They are always so fun and really make me do some thinking! ;) So, here is what I came up with!

As you can tell, I went with 'faux stitching'. I don't have a sewing machine (maybe someday?...). So, I did some brainstorming. I was gonna go with a sticker, perhaps. But then the other night, as I went through some of my stamps. I came across a set, I really only have used maybe a couple times?...if that. And I figured this set was perfect, 'Stitched Flowers', yep. Sounds like it was meant to be, right?! ;)

I stamped all my flowers and trimmings in black ink. Then hand cut, every single one out! Yeah, who's idea was that?! lol Though, in the end I believe it was worth it?...Hopefully?! ;) After all that cutting, I got out a little paintbrush and some water, along with some ink pads. I just dipped my brush into the water, then rubbed it across in ink pad...and poof, color I had! Really, just having fun and playing around with things! :)

I will say, my biggest battle with this card, was deciding whether to leave it plain or add sequins/gems. I went with pearls (been awhile since I used any of those). Was that the right decision?...Hmmm...

I made this purely for fun. Not for a challenge. Not for any DT assignment. Not for submitting. Just fun. I had recently bought some new stamps and really wanted to play with them more! So, using one of the new sets I got, this was an outcome from it.

Hey y'all! It's time to get out your SRM goodies again! We have a new challenge at The SRM Challenge! This time we're all about Birthday's! And if your anything like me, this time of year there always seems to be a TON of birthday's going on!?! ;)

So, here's my card!

Okay, so for my card I had to do a little 'trail and error'. I started at first, with something completely different. I thought I liked my first card, but then when I took a picture of it and uploaded it. I said 'nope'. So back to the drawing board I went. But then, being back to square one, I was lost on where to even start at! So, I actually left my work area. Yep, I threw the towel in. Then as I was getting the kids ready for bed and myself, it came to me...so much so, that instead of getting into bed, I went over to my little crafty area and started my card. Mind you, this was late and pretty dark because I didn't want my kids thinking they can stay up any later then what it already was, seeing there was a light on. Ha! I really, had no clue how my card was going to look in the morning! Well, I ended up calling it good. So, what would call it?!...
