CAS(E) this Sketch challenge

So today I'm swinging on in to share my card for the current CAS(E) this Sketch challenge! It has been AGES since I've played along with them, so I'm excited that I finally got the chance to! :)

Oooh, you know I saw that sketch and was like yep. Ultra CAS, it is! lol

Once again, I did a little mixing and matching with stamp sets.
And I actually broke out another new set that I had yet to use. ;)

I kept things real clean and just did some coloring for my feather. Then for touch of color and 'pop' I added a little piece of gold glitter paper above my sentiment banner. Easy peasy, right?!...

Share your Altenew Love

Hey y'all!
Hope all is well?!...

Oooh, boy! I have a very rare post today! I saw Altenew has a video challenge on sharing your love for Altenew...Well, let's just say, I took the plunge and made a video! Say whaaat?!!...Yep. A video.

Thankfully, you don't have to be in the video because I'm not always one for the camera. Whew. ;) Now, I had some fun with this and didn't edit a thing because honestly, I don't know how to edit videos! lol (I'll have to ask my husband for help if I decide to try my hand at making more.)

*After making this I realized perhaps I'm mispronouncing Altenew?...It's not my intention to do so and I sincerely apologize if I have so. Hopefully, they won't hold it against me. ;)*

I would love to hear what you think of my video...I'm curious to know! :)

Anyhow, I'm swinging in today with another card for the Fall Coffee Lover's Blog Hop. To be honest, I haven't done an ultra CAS card in awhile...I guess it was calling to me...

See?...Ultra CAS, right?!...
I simply started with my cup and did some coloring with it. After I placed it on my card and then added a strip of glitter washi tape. Once done, I topped it off with my little sentiment. Simple, right?!...

Anyhow, looking at some current challenges that are out there, I came across CASology's challenge.

Well, things seemed to have worked in my favor for this week's challenge! See, I made this card, took a photo of it, and had it in my camera. Later on I did edit it, but that's it! I didn't upload it to my blog, I didn't share it, nothing! (I tend to do that a lot. lol) So seeing the cue card being 'cute' I thought it was the perfect time to share. :)

Whale of a card

Hey y'all! Happy Monday!
Hope your week is off to a great start?!... :)

I'm still thinking it's the weekend because my kids have the day off today. Something about 'teachers professional day'...all I know, is my kids are starting to go crazy. lol So, I'll keep my post fairly short. ;)

I've been following Lawn Fawn's inspiration week and was certainly inspired when I saw the Narwhal and Friends die set being used! :) With that being said, here's my card.

Yep. I pulled out my felt, that has been sadly sitting for way too long. Though, so happy I was inspired to use it...and I'll have to stick with using it more! ;) And wait. What's that?!...An embossing paste background?!!...lol Looks like someone finally broke down and bought some stencils and embossing paste! ;) (I sure am loving it!)

I decided to opt out on using a sentiment, at the last moment. I was trying to figure something out but nothing seemed to be working for me. After some more thinking and playing around, I thought it looked (and worked) just fine without a sentiment.?.

Well, that's all for me today. I'll be back soon with more, though for now, I'm gonna go see what my kids are up to! ;)

Happy Birthday

Hope all is well?!...

Today, I'm swinging in to share a sweet card with you. I saw the CASology challenge this week and told myself I needed to play along! (I missed the past couple weeks or so of playing, so I told myself I better! lol)

After seeing the cue card, I thought I'd stick with using some kind of dog image. However, I really did have to do some thinking!...My first thought was, do I even have a dog image?!...After some looking, I remembered (and came across) a couple digital images I had printed out. Perfect. :) 

Lately, I've been enjoying coloring (as usual) though I've been going for my colored pencils over markers. Don't get me wrong, I still love using markers but guess I'm trying to get the hang of colored pencils?...I don't really know?... ;) Anyhow, I kept things nice and soft and just added some touches of color to my image. After, I used that darn stitches die with it...lol...hey, you can say I definitely I got my money's worth! lol

Congratulations

Hey y'all! Happy Tuesday! :)
Hope all is well?!...

Once again I seem to be all over the place! However, some things that have been weighing me down (nothing to due with DT or crafting stuff ;)) have finally been lifted off my shoulders. Which in return, should give me way more motivation. This week I'll be trying to catch up on commenting and visiting you all! :)

Anyhow, I'm swinging on in today to share a card with you! If you haven't seen the brand new Where Creativity Meet C9 challenge, you should definitely check it out, especially is you love Concord & 9th stamps! ;)

So here's my card.

I sure hope you can see some color?!...This card was giving me a hard time on photographing it. I tried my best to capture the light colors. ;)

I've been wanting to ink up this stamp set for quite some time and finally, I got to! :)
I kept things light and simple. I started with my cake, which I added touches of color with colored pencils. (try saying that 5 times fast...lol...touches of color with colored pencils...lol)
After I finished coloring my cake, I stamped on my sentiment, then added it to my card. To finish things off, I added some light yellow sequins and twine. Easy peasy, right?!...

Celebrate-Waffle Flower Challenge

Hey y'all! Happy Monday!
Hope you're week is off to a great start?!...

Today, I'm sharing my card for the current Waffle Flower Challenge! Have you seen the inspiration photo?!!...

So pretty, right?!... :)
I was inspired by the little banners/circles, so I focused on that and went with a celebration card.

Using Waffle Flower Crafts Doily Circle stamp set, I stamped on some 'strings' in white ink on clear vellum. After, I stamped on my little circles using Waffle Flower Crafts Warm Wishes stamp set. Once done, I used some distress markers to color them in.

For my card base, I added some patterned paper over my cardstock, then adhered my stamped vellum piece over it. Afterwards, I added my sentiment pieces, some twine, and a mini clothespin to my card. Sweet and simple, yeah?!...

Practically PURR-Fect

Hey y'all! Hope all is well?!...

Today, we have a new challenge at Little Tangles! This time we're all about the sketch.

I pretty much stuck straight to the sketch. However, I did tweak my lines and the oval background part some. ;) I stamped on my lines with a light grey ink using Neat & Tangled's On the Edge stamp set. After, I stamped my kitty cats on white cardstock using Neat & Tangled's Purrrfect stamp set, along with the matching die and then colored them. For my banner and sentiment piece, I used Neat & Tangled's Kitty's stamp set, along with the matching die set. Once done, I added my colored die cut piece and banner to my card and added some clear sequins, along with some twine. Simple, yeah?!...
