Sweet Treat

Hey y'all! Happy Tuesday!
Hope all is well?!...

Well, believe it or not, I'm still trying to get rid of this cold I have!! Things were getting better until the weather decided to suddenly become FREEZING! lol I know some you are probably laughing at me but honestly when you're not used to cold temps and it goes from being in the 80's to all of a sudden 40's to 60's, that's enough to put your body in shock! Thankfully, it's suppose to start warming back up by Thursday...and hopefully it stays that way. ;)

Oh where, oh where, is my crafty mojo?!!...I'm not sure if it's because I have a cold or what, but my crafty mojo just seems to be gone!?!...Anyone else having this problem or is it just me?!...I keep looking at amazing projects and challenges to get some inspiration, which I certainly do get inspired. Though, comes time to create something and suddenly I'm stuck. Ugh.

However, because I'm good at taking pictures and editing them but never posting them, I do have a card to share! ;)

Again, probably not the best picture but it'll have to do. ;)

Hey y'all! Happy Wednesday!

The past few days or so have been a little rough. I've been having nothing but a sick household. Which yesterday things somewhat caught up to me, so I took it easy. (well, as much as I could.) Today, things are a little better. I actually got all four of my kids to school and I'm up and moving but becoming quite the 'mouth breather'. lol Hopefully by this weekend everyone will be back to 100.

Anyhoo...I'm sharing a card that I made a little while ago, using some 'scraps' that I had in my stash. ;) No challenges or DT work, here. Just for fun and perhaps it'll make you smile!

*Edited to add: I don't think the picture is the best...not horrible but not the best. Though, I think it's okay. ;)

Just a short and sweet post for me...I have my youngest home with me today, as in he's not feeling too well. Hopefully, tomorrow he's feeling better and none of my other kids will complain of anything. ;)

Anyhoo, I'm sharing a card a made a little while back. Nothing like posting it months after the fact...lol Well, as the saying goes, better late than never! ;)

I made this for a family friend of ours that had a baby girl.
Keeping with my typically CAS style, I did some coloring and a little bit of die cutting after. Easy peasy, right?!...

I'm sharing a card for the current CASology Challenge.

I was thinking, what makes you think of a forest?...Of course trees/greenery and whatnot, though I was trying to think of other things. Well needless to say, there are many things! lol So, I decided to go with a tree stump.

I kept things simple and let's face it, I think I go through these phases of where I'll color for quite some time and then don't and then do and then...you get the picture. But I'm loving it right now, so I'm just gonna stick with it for now. Coloring it shall be! heehee

With the new year starting and my kids finally back in school, I feel somewhat 'refreshed'. I'm staying caught up with DT work (as of right now) and I'm finding time to create, whether it be for a challenge or just for fun. :)

So today, I'm sharing a simple card I made for the current Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge.

Well, I probably could have thought of doing something more outside of the box...though, that doesn't always necessarily go well for me. (which I know things take practice but let me be honest, I'm not always that patient with things. lol) So, I went with using a 'new to me' stamp set from Concord & 9th.

I had this stamp set for a little while now but just never found the time to ink it up...until now that is. ;) I also been doing some more coloring and this time I tried adding some shading (so to speak) or maybe gradient colors for my cups?...(I'm not always sure on the term to use, though I think you know what I'm talking about?...Hopefully.)

I did keep things nice and clean. After coloring my cups, I used the matching dies with them and I also used the die for my 'steam'. Before adhering things to my card, I added my sentiment pieces, in this case 'Be Warm". So what do think?!...

Hey y'all! Happy Monday!
Hope your week is starting off right?!...

Today my kids returned back to school from vacation. Which I have somewhat mixed feelings about (surprisingly). lol Usually, I'm all for them going back to school because of how crazy things get when they're all home. Though, this time around they didn't do all too bad and I enjoyed not having to get up in the mornings and feel rushed (so to speak) to get them and everything ready to head out the door. Maybe because they're a little older now it's easier?...I'm not sure. However, I do need to get back on track with things, so it's probably good they started back. ;)

Anyhow, I found some time to create and after looking at some challenges, I thought I'd join in on the current Little Tangles Challenge.

I decided to pull out a Neat & Tangled set I haven't used in quite some time. I stamped my images on my coloring cardstock and then did some coloring with each of them. After, I used the matching dies with them. I then used a couple distress markers and paintbrush to add a little background to my card. Once dry, I added my images and sentiment. And to finish things off, I added some twine at the top of my card. Simple, yeah?!...

Wish BIG

Hey y'all! Happy Tuesday!
Hope all is well?!...

Boy, it seems like I've been MIA for awhile! lol It wasn't in my plans to not post anything for so long. I've been playing 'catch up' with some DT work and trying to fight off this tiredness/exhaustion I'm feeling lately. Anyone else feeling that way?!...I'm thinking with all the holidays passing and my kids still out of school until next week, it's just overload for me...especially with all the other things I've been doing around the house and whatnot. (probably, should slow down.) ;)

Anyhoo, I did manage to find a little spare time to create a card for a challenge! :) I haven't looked at too many challenges right now because of things being busy, but I did see CAS-ual Fridays Challenge and thought I'd join in on the fun.

Keeping things nice and clean. I simply did some masking with my stamps and then one by one stamped each sentiment piece on my card. Easy peasy, right?!...
