Happy Birthday

Hey y'all! Hope you're all enjoying this lovely Sunday?!! :) I'm really trying to relax today, and enjoy the little things in life. Though, I'm not so sure about the relaxing part....lol My kids seem to have, a little too much energy!! ;) At the least, I'll still enjoy it!

Okay, on to my card! I'm using this card, for two (yes, two) current challenges. This will be my entry in the CAS on Sunday challenge, which is "Happy Birthday". And I will enter this in the Simon Says Stamp challenge, which is "Anything goes". :)

I went a little different on this card. Lately, my cards are pretty much one layer. Which, I love. Though I wanted to play around a little bit more. :) I actually really like this card!.....Seems bright and cheerful and perfect for a birthday, yeah?!...

Hey y'all! I'm baaaaack....that was quick, wasn't it?!! lol Okay, so now I'm sharing a card I made for the current A Blog Named Hero challenge!

It's been waaaay too long, since I've played in a challenge with them!! I must play more often!! :) I had some real fun with this challenge. Make your own embellishment, using a stamp(s). This is, so me!

So, what I did was....I took a over sized big brad and stamped on my design, in gold ink. I used Hero Arts Starburst Lace stamp, for this. (I used the middle of the stamp) Then I wanted a little something else, to go with it. So, I decided to use a die and some pattern paper. Then, also thought a few gold studs would be nice. And after a little bit of playing around, I figured it out! Last but not least, was adding my 'Hello' from Hero Arts Everyday Sayings, in gold ink. :)

Hey y'all! Happy Saturday!! :) I'm stopping in today, to share a card I made for the current Casology challenge!

I wasn't sure, if I would even get something whipped up in time!....For some reason I struggle with circles??....It may not seem like it, but I do! lol :) So, here's what I came up with!

Yep. I had this little dotted circle stamp, that I had yet to use. So, I knew I wanted to use that. Then I sat and thought because I really had no idea, how I was gonna use this stamp. Eventually, some kind of 'light bulb' went off in my head! lol  And there you have it! :)

Sweet Stamp Shop: Guest Designer!!

So, I'm sharing a card I made using the new Color Wheel stamp, which you can find Here. (Note: The Color Wheel stamp is sold out. Hopefully, it won't be too long before it's back in stock!) :)

You know me, I kept it CAS! :) I used some watercolor pencils, for this card! I haven't used those in a looooong time, I forgot how lovely they are! I used two different 'shades' of colors in each square (rectangle) and then mixed them together with the water. After it was dry, I added my sentiment. Simple, right?! :)

Hey y'all! I know, I know, it's been a minute since my last post!...Sorry 'bout that! Time just keeps flying on by!!...Does it ever just stop, for one minute?!! lol  :)

Okay, today's card is for the current Case this Sketch challenge! It's even been a minute, since I've played with them. It's about time, I join back in with all the fun! :)

So, sticking to the sketch, I went with settle background colors/patterns. Then added a nice 'pop' of color with my flower. I chose to put foam dots on the back of the two pieces of paper and decided I would just adhere the last piece. Now, I stamped on my sentiment over my last piece of paper. Either it works or it doesn't?...I thought, I liked it and now, I'm second guessing myself, if I should of done that?....At this point, it is what it is. ;)

Hey y'all! What a quick week, this is!! Whew! :) Okay, so today I'm sharing a card I made for the current Simon Says Stamp challenge! This week is, Use an Arrow.

Here is my card!

I was just having some fun. :) I made my own little chipboard arrow, using some plain chipboard and pattern paper. Added some actual washi tape (to be exact, the only roll I have). Then I splashed a little ink on my card. Which I didn't use a mister of any sort. Somehow I just managed to flick my ink refill and out it came, the way I liked. :) Hummmm....fun....just a fun card....

Feeling so thankful....
