Hey y'all! Happy Friday! :)
Today, we have a fun new challenge at CAS-ual Fridays!
So, here's what I came up with.
I really love all the different watercolor techniques, that are out there! With so many different choices, it's sometimes hard to choose exactly what you wanna do. ;) I went with a pretty basic watercolor technique and choose to have a couple of different 'washes' and then just added it directly to my paper. To speed up my drying (because I'm sometimes, impatient) I used my heat gun. After, I stamped on my '&' and 'hugs' using black ink. Then added my heart and sequins. So, what do you think?!...
Be sure to swing on over to CAS-ual Fridays and see all the DT creations! And while you're there, I hope you'll join us?!!...
Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Waffle Flower Photo Challenge
Hey y'all!
Welcome back to another Waffle Flower photo challenge! :)
What a bright and fun photo it is!
Here's what I came up with.
Keeping things clean and simple, I used stamped my flowers in orange and pink. Then added a 'pop' of red by them. Top finish my card off, I added my die cut 'perfect'. Which I actually layered three times. So, what you think?!...
Be sure to swing over to the Waffle Flower photo challenge and join in on the fun! You'll wanna be sure to check out all the DT cards, too! ;) Hope to see you there!

Welcome back to another Waffle Flower photo challenge! :)
What a bright and fun photo it is!
Here's what I came up with.
I have to say, sometimes these photos/colors can be challenging. Though, after some thinking and playing around, they truly are fun to play with! And it's fun to see what others come up with as well! ;)

Together would be better
Okay. I'm back!
My second post of the day and on a Sunday! ;)
This time I was having fun and saw the mood board at Butterfly Reflection Ink.
So, here's my card.
Yep. Was playing with the same stamp and die set, as my last post! I'm tellin' ya...it's a favorite! ;)
For this card, I actually only used partial of the stamp and die. Which I layered it with black and gold. Used some distress inks for my two pinks. And then added my sentiment along with my airplane. Let me know what you think?!...
Thanks for stopping by!
That's all for me, today. I'll be back tomorrow. ;)
Enjoy your day!
My world is...
Hey y'all! Happy Sunday!
I'm quickly stopping in, to share a card I made for the current Runway Inspired Challenge. Boy, it's been a long time since I played with them! I needed to change that. ;)
So, here's my card!
Ooooh. yes. I recently bought some more new goodies and couldn't wait to play with them! I think this may be one of my new favorites for the time being! LOOOOOOOVE. :)
Anyhow, I used the die three times with my black cardstock. Then once, with my pattern paper. After, I put them all together and before adhering my pattern paper die cut, I just snipped off the pieces, where I wanted my black cardstock to show. Then, added my little red heart in the middle. Once done and before adhering everything to my card base, I stamped on my sentiment (which I embossed). So, what you think?!...
You should be able to tell where my inspiration came from in the photo?...(hopefully) ;) I saw the jacket with the designs on each side, so I did that with my pattern paper. Then seeing the red belt buckle, I decided on a red heart. ;)
Thanks for stopping by!
And I'll be back in a minute...it's a two kind of card day! ;)

HEY...
Annnnd I'm back so soon! lol It's a two card kind of day! ;)
I've been itching to play along with Casology! Seems like every time I try, something comes up. Though, not this time! ;)
So, here's my card.
I actually was needing a 'friend' card, so this was perfect! After looking at some stamps, I decided on using one the new Waffle Flower sets. I couldn't resist that cow! lol Sooo cute!
Thanks again for stopping by!
Enjoy! :)
Coffee beans
Hey y'all! Happy Friday! :)
I'm swinging in today to share a card I made for the current Lawnscaping Challenge!
And here's my card.
Coffee beans! :) I just stamped them all over, using an dark brown ink. Then around the edges, I added a little distress ink in a light brown. After, added some red twine, along with my cup and heart. Cute, yeah?...
Normally, I would have a sentiment on my card. But thought, it was just as sweet without one. ;)
Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy your weekend!

bees...we belong together
Hey y'all! Happy Sunday! :)
As most of you know, we took a little break at CAS on Sunday. Well, today we are back! Yay! :) We are starting off, challenging you to use a 'stencil or mask' on your card.
Here's what I came up with.
Needless to say, I was thinking of Valentine's day (again!)! lol I actually surprised myself with this card!...Would you believe it, I only had to do this card two times, before things came out just how I wanted it!!! lol ;)
I used a honeycomb stencil with two different yellows. Then, added my little bees. Which I used a yellow colored pencil and on the wings (which you probably can't see) I added a touch of shimmer to them. After, I added my hot pink hearts and sentiment. And I hope you're sitting down, because I did some heat embossing for my sentiment! lol When's the last time I did that?! ;)
Be sure to swing on over to CAS on Sunday and check out all the DT creations! If you join us for our challenge, you have the chance at being our next Guest Designer! How fun is that?!...Hope to see you there!

whale you be mine?
Hey, y'all! Happy Friday! :)
I'm just swinging on in to share a card. Just was taking a break from working on some DT stuff and this happened to come to me. ;)
No challenges or anything. Just for fun.
So, whale you be mine?...I decided to play some more with Lawn Fawn. Love those whales! ;) And with 'love in the air' (well, soon enough...right? ;)) what better than to make a Valentine's day card. When I saw that anchor paper, everything else just sort of came together for me. I like it when that happens, don't you?...

Waffle Flower Challenge!
Hey y'all! Happy, happy, happy! :) Yes, it's Monday. But today, is my first official post for the Waffle Flower Challenge! Yay!
Just look at that inspiration photo...
Let me be honest. Those colors did get the best of me...at first. ;) After some playing around and hard thinking though, this is what I came up with.
Oooh, so what do you think?!...I choose to keep my card very clean and just add some 'pops' of the different colors. I tried so many things with those colors, but liked this outcome the best. ;) With my die cut pieces, the 'branches/leaves' I rolled the edges some to make them stand out from the base. Then added my flower slightly over them. To finish my card off, I used some clear sequins and added foam squares on the back of my 'panel' before adhering to my base card.
Be sure to swing on over to the Waffle Flower Challenge and see all the amazing DT creations!!! And while you're there, I hope you'll join us! :)

Shower you...and a conclusion.
Hey y'all! Happy Saturday! :)
I'm swinging on in today to share a card I made and a conclusion.
*Feel free to scroll down, if you don't want to read my conclusion.*
Okay. So, this is the conclusion I have come to. Remember when I asked for help and your thoughts about my last photo?...I received a number of personal opinions and I absolutely, enjoyed hearing them! One thing I did notice, is everyone truly sees things differently. Some agreed with others on certain things, some didn't. Some thought my photo was great, others thought okay, etc. All in all, different. Each and every thought, different.
So, I personally have come to this. Not only does everyone see things differently. But I also truly believe it has to do with computers, as well. There are wide range of computers/laptops and some may look similar or even be the exact same thing. But photos (and things) will still be shown different on each and every single one. Why, I think this?...Have you seen all the settings there are?...You can change the brightness, that there will certainly change how something looks to someone. Not all have their brightness the same. How about the contrast?...How about if your computer if full or partial HD or perhaps, not at all?...How about the screen resolution?...Seriously, with so many little factors and settings, nothing could possibly be the same. So, while this is all just my thoughts, I'm going to continue taking the best of photos that I can. And I took in all your tips as well. I figure my photos can only get better, not worse...Let's not go back to when I first started! LOL ;) Again, I truly enjoyed everyone's thoughts and thank you so much. :) Please though, if my photo is THAT bad, let me know! LOL I will certainly take more tips along the way! ;)
Now, onto my card.
I saw Virginia's View Challenge and knew I wanted to play! Which, I surprised myself some because for days I had no crafty mojo! Or maybe I did, but have been overwhelmed by all these new releases, etc. (Have you seen all the new goodies out there?!) ;)
Okay. Here's my card.
Cardstock, after cardstock. I finally was able to get things straight. Yes. Being the perfectionist, I am. I can't let things slide. I mean honestly, most probably wouldn't be able to see it. Though if I can, that's enough to make me crazy. LOL Anyhow, I played with some new Waffle Flower stamps and thought of a Valentines card. That's coming up soon enough, right?! ;)
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Congrats...
Hey y'all! Happy Monday! Hope you have a great week! :)
So, I'm swinging on in today to share a card I made. When I was doing my commenting, I came across Darnell's blog and saw she has a NBUS challenge going on. Well, I missed the others. So, when I saw this, I told myself I needed to play along! ;)
Here's what I came up with.
Everything is new and never used before, except the sentiment and cardstock. Hopefully, that doesn't disqualify me from playing along?... ;) For a Christmas gift, I received some new sequins and stamps/dies. What better way to put them to use and get my creative juices flowing, than to play along!
For my card I went with making a faux shaker. I was just having some fun with it. I don't even know anyone who's expecting! lol So how that came to me, I couldn't even tell you! ;)
Okay. Now I want to ask a question. If you wouldn't mind helping me out?...See my photo above. How does it look to you? Is it too dark? Too light? Just okay?...I just bought a new laptop and I know it's different from my desktop. Though, I can't figure out if my desktop colors are off or if my laptop's off. Both screens are different and for me, I can't tell which is better or not so good. How do things look on your screen?...
Thanks so much for stopping by and your help!
Have a great week! I'll be back soon with some more news! ;)

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge 135
Hey y'all! Today, is my first official post for CAS-ual Fridays challenge!!!...Eek! I'm so excited! :)

So, here's my card!

So, here's my card!
I totally love it, don't you?!...However, let me be the first to tell you. This card did not come easy for me. I'm not sure if I just felt like I had to come up with something beyond grand or what?!...lol...I'm seriously thinking my crafty mojo decided to leave me for a bit. Days and days past, before this.
Though, once I had another one of my ideas, I rolled with it. I started with looking at my vellum, then was trying to think of a good paper to go with it. And luckily I had some. (would have been a bummer, if I couldn't of found anything.) ;) Once done, I trimmed up my papers to fit nicely in the corner. (I used a solid white piece of cardstock under the vellum, which I stamped my 'note' on in black ink.) Before actually adhering my papers, I stamped on my sentiment at a slight angle. Then when done, added my papers. After, I added my felt flower and sequins. Fun, yeah?...
Be sure to swing on over to CAS-ual Fridays to see all the awesome DT creations! And while your there, be sure to join us! :)
