I'm swinging on in today with a card I made for the current CASology Challenge, which it also happens to be their 5 year anniversary! How awesome is that?!!...

Balloon seems to be suitable, don't you think?! ;) 

Keeping things nice and simple. I added my 'woohoo' using some letter stamps and then added some fun little party animals and balloon on top. Did some easy coloring and called it good. Fun, yeah?!...

Hey y'all! Happy Thursday, almost Friday!
Hope all is well?!...

Things have been a little crazy right now...with school starting back up on Aug. 10th, we're trying to figure out what we're gonna do. You see, my kids want to go back to homeschooling this year and well, I have mixed feelings about it. I mean, we've done it in the past and things should be a little easier because they are older. Then again, there's four of them and the time to tend to each one might be a little too time consuming...especially, when I have things that have to be done. So for now, we're weighing out our pro's and con's to each and have to go from there. Talk about getting down to the wire though! lol ;)

Anyhow, I'm swinging in today to share a 'just for fun' card.

It's another stormy day, here. In all honesty, I love storms, especially good ones. But not necessarily having them all day. lol (You know, I do like to hit up the beach before they roll in. lol) Not to mention, where does anyone even get the motivation to do anything when it's stormy out?!!...Please let me know. lol ;)

Anyhow, my card today is for the current Inky Paws Challenge.

I think my card pretty much explains itself. Simple and fun, yeah?!...I also actually used pigments inks for my images rather then dye inks. (I thought my other ink pads needed some love, too. ;)) 

Well, that's it for me. I'm gonna try to do some much needed commenting and then maybe sneak in some crafty time. :)

It's nothing but thunderstorms here, so what better way to spend the day crafting (and editing photos that I had sitting on my camera lol)?!...Though, I'll be short because there is some good lightning and well, probably not the best my sitting here on the computer. ;)

Anyhow, the card I'm sharing today is for the current Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge.

I kept things simple and I know you probably can't really tell?...though I heat embossed my cake in white. After, I did some watercoloring with a couple flowers and leaves. Once done, I added my sentiment in the middle of my cake and then added my cake to my card base, which I chose a soft stone cardstock for. Easy peasy, yeah?!...

I'm swinging back in today to share a card I made for the current Altenew July Inspiration Challenge.

Well, if there's one thing I love about Altenew, it's their stamps! Seriously, it doesn't take much to make the images speak for themselves! ;) 

Honestly, I wanted to added some more images but I just couldn't! lol I thought and tried but I simply just loved the way the one stamped image looked, so I left it to be the center of attention. Once I had my stamping done for my stem and rose, I added a simple sentiment below and topped things off with a little bit of twine. Easy peasy, right?!...

Hope all is well?!...

Things have been busy here with all the summertime fun and my kids bickering with one another! lol You'd think my kids would be worn out and relatively mellow, but oh no, leave it to them to find something to start arguing about...I sure do love them, but mom's gonna need a vacation for herself after summer. lol ;)

Anyhow, today I'm swinging in to share a card for the current Paper Smooches July Challenge.

With the challenge being 'anything goes' and it being summertime, I came up with a summer themed card. 

I started with my background, which I did some stenciling for. And wait. Did I say stenciling?!...lol I've been pushing myself to add a little more touches here and there to my cards and not to mention, the never ending pile of stuff I have yet to use! ;) Once I had my stenciling done, I did some coloring with my images using markers and then started to assemble my card together. To finish things off, I added my sentiment piece and some twine. Simple, yeah?!...

I'm still trying to slow back down from the 4th and having some company visit. Also my husband has been on vacation from work (which he goes back tomorrow), so I'm trying to savor the last little bit of having him home. Along with trying to 'touch up' some things here and there inside our home.

You're my treasure!

Hey y'all! Happy Sunday and Happy July!! (Where is the time going?!...lol)
Hope all is well?!...

I was going through (and thinking) of the pile of stamps that I haven't used much or if used at all...which I must say, I thought I was on a pretty good kick of using them but then after going through my bins, I realized I put a lot of new stamps away before ever actually using them! I think for now on I'll leave them on my desk until I use them, at least once anyhow. ;)

Speaking of using new or barely used stamps, that's just what inspired my card. I believe I've only used these Waffle Flower Crafts stamps one other time, if I'm not mistaken.?...Bottom line, I used some stamps that haven't seen much ink! lol

Do you see my background?!...I actually picked up a sponge applicator! (that's only been sitting in my desk drawer for years. lol) I used a few different color inks for my background which I gradually blended in and I did leave a little white at the top of my card, to make it seem like it was the 'sky' above. After, I assembled all my die cut pieces and sentiment together on my card. Pretty simple, yeah?!...
