Fiesta

Happy Tuesday! :)

I'm swinging in today to share a 'just for fun' card. I really wanted to post this card for Cinco de Mayo but I ended up having to take care of my daughter who was sick and then I had a big migraine that came on and just could not do anything. Thankfully, my daughter is much better and my head is much better today, though sore. 

Without further ado, here is my card...

I used some 'new to me' goodies from Not 2 Shabby and threw in a little Stamplorations with the die cut border and Scrapbook.com with the skinny die cut letters. 

Perhaps, I should have done the letters in black cardstock?...but didn't think about it much until after the fact, though I do like the white, too. So it is what it is. (lol) I did some coloring with a mix of Copic markers as well as an 'off brand' of alcohol markers that I've had for quite some time. After, a little fussy cutting with the cactus. For the background, just some patterned paper and then added a touch of faux splatters using a fine point black Copic pen. Then added on the die cut letters to spell 'fiesta'. Fun, right?!...
