Yep. It's my second post of the day! :)

I saw the current Paper Smooches April Challenge when it first started, though was stuck on what to do. After seeing some inspiration and going through the few sets of Paper Smooches I have, I decided on a love card.

'Showering' you with love...

I used an older Paper Smooches set I've had for quite sometime that somehow seemed to had been forgotten...Well, forgotten no more! ;)

I started with stamping on my monkey, then adding a 'line' with a fine point black pen. After, I stamped on my hearts. Once having all my stamping done, I used some colored pencils to add some color to my images. Simple, yeah?!...

I also chose no sentiment because I thought the images did all the talking. ;)

Watercolor Hello (Take 2)

Watercolor Hello

Hey y'all! Happy Sunday!
Hope you're enjoying your day?!...

I'm just taking it easy...it's a relaxation day with a little bit of baking. Though, I probably will have to make a trip to the store, as well. And shouldn't we throw in a little crafting in the mix?! ;)

So I'm sharing a fun watercolor card with you, today. I saw the current Little Tangles challenge and was trying to think of something, though all my previous attempts of watercoloring were just no good. After some serious thinking and playing with some things, something came to me and worked!...At least I hope it worked?!... ;)

Well?!...I used some watercolor paints that were in a tube (this is how out of my element I am...is there a certain name for the paints in a tube?...I really don't know. Though, hopefully you know what I'm referring to?! lol). I added a little bit of water to my paints and then used a paintbrush and painted them on my stamp. After, I stamped on my watercolor paper. I must say, I did a number of practice sheets from adding water to my paper to spritzing my stamp after painted, etc. I basically just played around with things until I liked what I got. ;)

I wanted to keep the focus on my watercolor images. So for my sentiment I chose a little stamped and die cut 'hello' along with a black piece of cardstock underneath it. Easy peasy, right?!...

I saw the new CASology Challenge and thought I'd try whipping up something for it before I get too busy and forget. lol Let's face it, my memory is not always the best. ;)

When I thought of 'grow' I was thinking of a flower growing and then also thought of growing within yourself. I think my card pretty much has both of those ideas?...

That's pretty much it for me today.
And just to share, I'm still going through my stash of new goodies....I haven't bought anything but man oh man, I'm finding it ever so hard! ;)

Well, my kids are finally feeling better and everyone else is doing good...no complaints here. lol Happy to have things getting back to normal around here. :)

So today I'm swinging in to share a card I made for the current CASology Challenge.

Funny things about this card was I actually had my roses already stamped and colored on my cardstock. Though it sat on my desk for days because I wasn't sure what I was really gonna do with it. Then when I saw the cue card, it came to me...I added a little butterfly (and colored it) and then simply added my sentiment. And to top things off, I added just a touch of black cardstock at the bottom of my card. Simple (and quick), yeah?!...Don't you just love it when things work out in the end?!... ;)

Well, it's the second day of my kids' spring break and I now have two sick kids! Ugh...I hope this all passes by tomorrow and *knock on wood* that no one else gets it.

With things being pretty mellow around the house, I've been having a little more time to create. ;)

So today, I'm swinging on in to share a card for the current Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge.

Oh, when I saw 'one layer' being the challenge...you know how much I love my one layer CAS cards. lol ;) 

See...pretty simple, yeah?!...

I simply started with stamping on my flowers and then colored them in using markers. And after I added my sentiment pieces. That's it. Easy peasy, right?!...

Today, is the first day of my kids' spring break! I'm happy to have a week of just doing whatever and whenever. lol Though, my youngest happens to be running a fever today, so I hope this isn't the start of how things are gonna go this week. :/

Anyhow, I do have a card to share today. I actually made this card a couple days ago, though just couldn't find the time to edit it and post it. Well, until today that is. ;)

Another 'just for fun' card. I've still been on my 'no more buying' kick, which is proving to be really hard. lol However, I order this stamp set and a few others before going on my no more buying kick. (just thought I'd share that lol)

Once again, I pulled out my colored pencils to color my images in. I kept things simple and chose no sentiment because if I'm being honest, I didn't want to mess anything up! lol Please tell me I'm not the only one who has ever done that?!... ;)

Just beacause

Hey y'all! Happy Thursday, almost Friday!!
Hope all is well?!...

I've still been sneaking in some crafty time, among everything else that has been going on. Which does make me quite happy. :)

And on another note, I have said this time and time again...I need to stop buying things!! lol Seriously, the hardest thing for me to resist are the new releases and well, just about anything!! haha! I think for the next couple months or so, I'm going to take a break from buying things and enjoy all what I have. :) I will still look at the new releases and whatnot annnd maybe even put some things in a cart. But no buying! ;)

Anyhow, enough with me rambling on and on...I do have a card to share and it's a 'just because' card. No DT work, no challenges, no nothing. Just because...

I've been trying to use this stamp set for a little while now, though nothing was wanting to come to me. Until yesterday, that was. I pulled out my pigment inks, yes you heard that right! Pigment inks. They need love too, right?!...I chose to do a mix of light to medium colors. I really didn't have an idea of what to do, though opted to go with the flow things. ;) As usual, I kept my card clean and once done with my design, I added my sentiment. Easy peasy, yeah?!...
(I also think this stamp set might be a new favorite! So many options with this one!) :)

Today, I'm swinging on in to share a card I made for the current CASology Challenge.

How FUN is that cue card?!!...

I decided to go pretty straight forward with the 'icing' and chose a lovely donut with icing on top! 

Cute, yeah?!...I had this stamp set for a little while now and haven't really inked it up much. So what better than to put it to use, right?!...And I used colored pencils!! lol Once again, I still need more practice with my coloring, especially with using colored pencils. Though, you have to start somewhere... ;)

Greatness

Hey y'all! Happy Monday!
Hope your week is starting off right?!...

For me, it's Monday and just as hectic as the last one. lol As crazy as things seem to be lately, I'm trying to remind myself to slow down some, as well as take time for myself. ;)

With that being said, I did find some more time to escape from things and created yet another card. :) I'm also going to enter this one into the Altenew April Inspiration Challenge.

Honestly, I'm still on this whole 'Altenew' kick! Which I love but ohhh my wallet...or should I say, my husband's wallet?!! Ha! Recently, I caved in and bought another new stamp set, along with their new markers. Not that I needed anymore markers or anything...lol

For my last card I entered in this challenge, which you can find here. I was inspired by the colors and plumeria (which I still am) though this time, I chose to go with just the colors.

Now, I still have a lot more practicing to do with my coloring! Though, I don't think I did to bad with this piece?!...(note: I am loving their markers and in hopes they'll come out with more colors soon, they'll certainly have a home here.) ;) After I finished my coloring, I added my sentiment and then a few yellow sequins. Easy peasy, right?!...

Congratulations on your wedding day

It's been nothing but a crazy week and weekend, here...I definitely needed to find a little 'escape time'. ;)

I saw the new Altenew April Inspiration Challenge yesterday and with that being on my mind, I was able to come up with something.

Just look at the inspiration...So pretty, right?!...

Inspired by the beautiful colors and the plumeria, I went with incorporating it all into my card. :) I used the Golden Garden stamp set and simply used different ink colors for each image. After, I added my sentiment (from the Ori Kami stamp set) on a strip of white cardstock and then added it to my card. And to top things off, a little sprinkle of clear sequins. Simple, yeah?!...

I don't know of anyone having a wedding but I guess I'll have a card on hand just in case. ;)
