Joy

Hey y'all! Happy Monday!
Hope your week is off to a great start?!...

I know this week for many brings a lot of cooking, running around, and time with family. My kids only have tomorrow for school then they're out for Thanksgiving break. Which I have to take my oldest son for some blood work on Wednesday and then there is a lot of prepping and dessert making for Thanksgiving day. Granted it's only us for Thanksgiving (and this year we invited our neighbor over to be with us because she doesn't have any family) though we love to have turkey sandwiches for leftovers. And how doesn't love to have pumpkin pie and/or pumpkin roll for breakfast the next day?! lol I know I do! :)

Anyhow, I'm swinging in to share one of the Christmas cards I'll be sending out to family/friends. I actually made 4 cards with this style. I'm trying my best the get all these Christmas cards done, so they can be mailed on time!! Last year, I was late! lol Though, better late than never, right?! ;)

I wanted things to be a little 'rustic' feel so I went with using a woodgrain background stamp on kraft cardstock and then some quick and easy coloring for my poinsettias. Pretty simple, right?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by...I'm off to do some commenting!
Have a great week! And if I don't see you before Thursday, have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! :)

  3. Good for you, being ahead of the game. I'm trying but I fear time's going to run away from me again this year. What a gorgeous poinsettia. And wood is always good ;)
