Hope your week is going well?! :)

I'm swinging in today to share a card I made for the current Altenew July Inspiration Challenge. Nothing like waiting until last minute, right?!  lol ;)

I actually had this card made for awhile but it was giving me a hard time with editing it. So I kept taking a break from it, then going back to it, and on and on that went. lol But I after so many ongoing tries with the editing, I just settle on what I thought was the best photo. ;)

Don't you just love all the layering flowers Altenew has to offer?!...(There are so many I still want. It's a long wish list. ;))

I layered my flowers in the colors from the inspiration photo. Then made a background using just one part of the leaves, rather than layering the leaves. After I simply assembled everything onto my base card and topped things off with some jewels and a sentiment. Simple, yeah?!...

I'm swinging in to share a card I made for the current Paper Smooches July Challenge.

I was able to pick up some of their new goodies and couldn't wait to use some! I say 'some' because I just may have bought too much. lol Is there even a such thing as buying too much of stamps and/or dies?!...Probably. lol

Anyhow, as you can see I kept things nice and simple. ;) I just did a little ink blending, die cutting, and stamping. That's it! Easy peasy, right?!...

Happy Monday, hope your week is starting off right?!...

Time just keeps flying on by...going where?...I have no idea! lol I'm swinging in to share I simple card I made playing around with the new Taylored Expressions blender brushes. I'm sure most have seen and/or heard about them?!...If not, they are awesome! ;)

I simply did a blended rainbow of colors on a piece of white cardstock. After I used another piece of white cardstock and used the little 'thanks' die that I got with my order. Then used a stitched die for the border and placed things over my blended panel. Simple, right?!...To finish things off, a simple little sentiment and a heart. :)

Happy Tuesday, hope all is well?!...

Things are pretty good here. Just soaking up some sun and getting some crafty time in here and there. ;)

I'm swinging in to share a card I made for the current PinkFresh Studio July Challenge. 

I kept things simple and sadly no matter how many times I took photos and edited things, I couldn't get the dry embossing to show up. :( So it just looks like a solid white background, though there is indeed some blooms the spread over most of the background...sigh...

At least for the most part, you can see (hopefully) what I was going for?...I layered the floral circle die cut a few times, to make it pop out some from the background. Then did some coloring with the hummingbird and then used the matching die with it and added it to my circle/card. And lastly, added a little sentiment and some jewels. Pretty simple, right?!...

Well, that's all for me today. I'm off to do some blog visits/commenting. :)

Real friends always share cupcakes

Happy Thursday, almost Friday! :) Hope all is well?!...

Things are going okay here. Trying to soak up the last little bit of Summer before my kids start school again. They start back up in August and we all know how fast time goes, so we got to enjoy it, yeah?! ;)

Anyhow, I'm swinging in to share a fun card...no challenges or anything, I just wanted to practice some coloring with markers.

Again, I'm no expert with my coloring skills. But I sure do have fun and enjoy it...that's what it's all about though, right?! ;) I did a little masking with the cupcakes, the image is nice and big, so lot's of playing around you can do with things.
