Little bit of mocha and love

Happy Thursday, hope all is well?!...

Time just keeps flying on by...I saw the new challenge over at Paper Smooches. And being I was already playing with some PS goodies a couple nights ago (not knowing what I was actually going to make lol), what better way to get the juices flowing than with a challenge. ;)

Anything goes!...Perfect, right?! :)

I used some fun dies and then did some ink blending. Pretty simple, right?!...BUT, I still had no idea what to do after I had my cups! So I struggled for a bit, making different backgrounds, looking through patterned paper, etc. It just seemed I came to a halt. Then, I went with using an embossing folder. I still used a white base but gave it some texture by using a folder. ;) Now, there are some thicker lines on my embossed panel though I'm not sure how well you can see them?!...Hopefully you can see a little bit of them. I promise you they're there. ;) To finish my card off, I added some hearts, a little blue bird, and a fun little sentiment. Sweet, yeah?!...

Happy Wednesday, hope all is well?!...

My kids are officially back in school (since yesterday) from having winter break. Not that there's a whole lot difference because I do homeschool them. lol  But, I'm telling you I can always tell when they're (or should I say when we are...) on break or not. I think they can, too. And I'm sure it's because there seems to be a schedule vs no real schedule when on breaks. ;)

Anyhow, I am swinging in today to share a sweet little card. No challenges or anything, a 'just for fun' and 'still coloring with colored pencils' card.

Cute, yeah?!...I actually pulled out the one and only set I have from Hello Bluebird. (yes, I know. I need to buy more. lol) I think I only used this set once, maybe twice before. I felt like it needed some more love. ;) And you should be able to see it some?...But I actually did a little embossing using an embossing folder! Do people still use embossing folders, besides myself?!...lol

Cute Tea

Hey y'all!
Happy 2020, hope all is well and the year is starting off right for you?!...I can't wait to see all what this year brings! I'm hoping for nothing but good times. Well, some other things too...but you know, focusing on good things. ;)

I'm finally feeling like things are slowing down some and getting back to normal. Since the holidays I feel like I have been going and going. My kids will be back in school Tuesday, so that should help things feel a little more 'normal' as well. ;)

I'm swinging in to share a card I made for the current Paper Smooches Challenge.

Naturally, I was thinking of snowmen or something with snow for my card. But then, after looking at some stamps sets, I went a different direction. Cute Tea, anyone?!...

Lately, I've been on this colored pencil kick. Not sure why, but I'm enjoying it! My husband did get me some new colored pencils for Christmas, so that could maybe explain some of it. ;)

I'm up on the A Jillian Vance Design blog sharing a card I made for my husband for our Anniversary. Which was yesterday. ;) I kept things pretty simple since I was aiming to keep things as much masculine as I could.

I left the heart blank but I think it's a great card that you could totally personalize! I did think about handwriting our names or the date/year, etc. Options, right?!...Though, knowing me when I'm trying not to mess things up that's usually when I do. So I just left it alone. lol
