November Not 2 Shabby Monthly Mood Board Challenge-A masculine card

Hi y'all! 

Happy Sunday, hope you're enjoying your day!?!...

The November Not 2 Shabby Monthly Mood Board Challenge is in full swing! Have you played along?...It's so fun and easy to play along, just create a card inspired by the mood board and/or colors, that's it! And you don't even have to use Not 2 Shabby products (though, if you do you can submit more than one card), more details/rules below. ;) 

For my card today, I went masculine as I was looking at the mood board and saw the fisherman. With that being said, here is my card...

Can you believe this card came together so easily and quickly?!...and this is coming from someone who struggles with masculine cards! lol  So if I can do it, so can you! :) 

Let's make this card!

• Start with patterned paper from the Rugged Birthday paper pad. (in this case, the woodgrain)
• Cut the paper slightly smaller to fit onto an A2 cardbase. 
• Add some gold metallic paint splatters.
• Set aside and let dry.

• Using the paper from the Rugged Birthday paper pad, cut out the 'ephemera' pieces. (leaving a little white border around the pieces)

• To the Happy Birthday tag ephemera piece, punch a hole and add burlap twine through the hole.

• Take the panel from earlier and add on the two 'fish' 'ephemera' pieces, layering things and adding foam tape on the back of the top image.

• Take the tag with burlap twine and wrap around the panel, tie in a knot and add a small piece of foam tape on the back of the tag.
• Add the panel to an A2 cardbase using foam tape on the back.
• Set aside.

• Take white cardstock and the Ultimate Sentiments Birthday stamp and stamp sentiments using black ink.
• Use the Ultimate Sentiments Universal die with the stamp sentiments.
• Choose a sentiment to use. (in this case, 'grow old but never grow up')

• Add to the card using foam tape. 

• Add sparkling enamel dots.
