Hello

Hey y'all! Hope all is well?!...

Happy day, here! Today, is my first DT post for the Little Tangles Challenge!! Yay! :)

And now for my card...

Hello! I kept things nice and simple. For my background, I did a little masking with a couple of the flowers from Neat and Tangled's Hand Stitched stamp set and then colored them with some markers. I did chose to do my flowers with blues but believe me, you could virtually use any color and I think it would look good! ;) After I was done, I used Neat and Tangled's Hello There die with white cardstock. Which I layered a few times. Easy, yeah?!...

Be sure to swing on over to the Little Tangles Challenge and check out all the DT projects! And while you're there, be sure to join in on the fun!! ;) Hope to see you there!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

you are perfect

Hey y'all! Happy Monday!
Hope your week is off to a good start?!

I'm swinging in today to share my card for the Waffle Flower Challenge! If you haven't seen it yet, this month is all about stenciling!

Here's my card.

To do my stenciling, I made my own stencil using Waffle Flower Crafts Tiny Wings die. On a piece of scrap paper, one by one I placed each butterfly where I wanted it and ran it through my die cutting machine. Thus giving me my stencil.

On my card base, I stamped a few 'floral' images from Waffle Flower Crafts Loved stamp set, using a light grey ink. After, I placed my stencil over my card base and used a couple different distress inks in purple. Once done, I removed my stencil and then stamped on my sentiment using Waffle Flower Crafts Loved stamp set (for the 'you are') and the In Every Way stamp set (for the 'perfect'). To finish things off, I added a few sequins and some white twine.

Not only did I focus on the stenciling, though I also tried my hand at using purples and the sketch. ;)

Be sure to swing on over to the Waffle Flower Challenge and see all the DT creations! And while you're there, I hope you'll join us?!! :)

Hope to see you there! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Just living is not enough...

Hey y'all!
Hope all is well?!...

Today, I'm stopping in with a somewhat different kind of post. I was recently contacted by Heather Von St. James, asking if I could help her out by spreading 'hope' for the holiday season. So, of course I said yes!

You see, Heather is a 10 year survivor of Mesothelioma!...You go girl!!

Heather and her family!
Sharing a glimpse of her story...She found out in 2005 about having Melignant Pleural Mesothelioma. And without treatment was only given 15 months to live and with treatment given about 5 years. Now flash forward 10 years, yes 10 and she's still here and stronger than ever, I'm sure! Truly amazing...If you'd like to know more about Heather, please click on her story.
I don't think we always hear much about Mesothelioma or that we hear the word Mesothelioma but don't really know exactly what it is?...To read/learn more about it, you can click here

So, with all that being said and Heather wanting to spread hope for the holidays and year round. I made a card to share with you all.

I was honestly going to go with a 'hope' card, one that actually had the word hope somewhere on it. But then, I came across some stamps that I have barely, if at all, have used. And when I saw the quote "Just living is not enough...one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower."from -Hans Christian Anderson, I thought it was more than perfect.

I think we all can use hope in our lives and with that being said, I'd like to send this card along with a little gift of 'hope' to someone! All you need to do is leave a comment and I'll randomly pick a winner...I'll leave the comments open until Jan. 8th 12:00pm EST and announce the winner on Jan. 10th.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Berry best friend

Hey y'all!
Hope all is well?!...Long time no see, yeah?! lol Well, I made it through the holiday and I hope you did too!?! ;)

Anyhow, I'm just swinging in with a quick post to share a 'just for fun' card.

*I know I haven't been around lately commenting, but I'll be back more shortly! ;) I still have not received my laptop back from it getting fixed, let alone a confirmation that they even received it!...That has me a little worried, so today I will be trying to contact them and see what's going on. Hopefully, it's not lost!! Would hate to have to buy a new one, considering the one I bought isn't even a year old! Ugh...crossing my fingers...*

Thanks so much for stopping by!
