CASEing Kelly Blog Hop!

Well, hello hello!!
Today is quite the fun day! :)

If you haven't seen or heard about it yet, we have a group of amazing and talented girls that came together for the CASEing Kelly Blog Hop! You should have came from blog Rubeena aka Ruby's blog...If not, be sure to start at the beginning! ;)

As some of you already know, Kelly has a feature on her blog called 'CASEing Genius'. If you're not familiar with it (you should check it out. ;)) though, it's where she features someone and three cards of theirs and then she creates a single card CASEing all three cards. Seriously, Kelly works her magic every time and is truly amazing at what she does!

CAS on Sunday

Hey y'all!
Happy Sunday!

Today we have a brand new challenge at CAS on Sunday! And this time we're all about using the sketch...

So here's my card.

I kept things easy and just die some cutting and coloring, using some of Waffle Flower Crafts stamps and dies. For my sentiment piece, I layered it 3 times using white on the bottom two layers and black on top. After laying all my die cuts together, I added a few clear sequins to finish things off.

Cute zombie?...

Hey y'all!
Hope all is well?!...

So, is there really a such thing as a 'cute' zombie?!?...Well, hopefully so! When I saw the Casology challenge being 'zombie' I thought, how fun is this! Buuut there was one problem...I don't have any zombie stamps! After some serious creative thinking, I was able to wing it. maybe.

Oh, I couldn't resist making that sweet little girl into a zombie! I really was just having some fun with this! I actually enjoyed it so much, that I may have to do it again. ;) (Then again, after looking at this...maybe she just looks sick?!...lol But I guess a zombie is sick, right?!..ha.)

My next challenge was finding a sentiment that would work. After 'sifting' through my stamps (over and over), I came across an older Sweet Stamp Shop set and thought the sentiment would be as close as it could to being a good fit!

So, what do you think?!!...A cute zombie?!...

The world is full of wonderful things (you can do anything)

Hey y'all!
Hope all is well?!...

Just a short and sweet post today. I saw the current Little Tangles Challenge and finally found some time to play along or perhaps I should say, an idea finally came to me! lol ;)

Here's my card.

Lately the only kind of watercolor that seems to work for me, is putting it on acetate and then spritzing it with water and laying it down on my card. I've tried the traditional way of water and a paintbrush, though it just don't wanna work for me. So, I think I'll be sticking to the acetate for a bit. ;)

I was going to just do some paper piecing without the watercolor, but I thought things needed to be 'grounded' more than just stamping the image on the card. Once I got all my watercoloring done, I stamped my images over it some and then proceeded to stamp the image on three different pattern papers. After, I did my cutting and decided to randomly place them 'here and there'. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment in a grey ink and then added my die cut sentiment piece. So what do you think?!...

Talk about cutting it close on time...well, I guess there's a day left. But still. lol I've been seeing a lot of people joining in on The Hop to Stop and I thought it was a great cause to bring awareness to! And to be quite honest, it wasn't something I was even aware of until I started seeing it around blogland...with inspiration comes some knowledge. ;)

Okay, so here's my card.

Oooh, just look at all the purple!! While you may not see much of purple(s) on my cards, you now know I do indeed have purple inks! lol (Note to self: don't be afraid to use purple!)

So I kept things real easy and just used a couple different purple inks for my flowers. Then did some die cutting and layered my pieces together. Simple, yeah?!...
